“If someone try’s to leglock you, they are vulnerable to a back take” - anyone good at this?

Can anyone good at this be as kind as to share their systems and tips, or can someone link some good instructionals or YouTube videos demonstrating exactly how to do this?

There was a great video a few years back by a small YouTube page run by some German guys that focused solely on this but I can’t find it.

Have they fixed UNVRS sound system yet?

I am going to UNVRS in a few weeks for two separate shows, last year I also went twice and the sound system was pretty terrible.

One of the nights i went it was acceptable but not amazing, the second night it was simply terrible. Have they addressed this problem this season or is it still hit and miss ?

Visualising stoic “Warrior Self” meditation practise.

Does anyone else meditate this way? I often visualise myself as a kind of stoic warrior - medieval knight or samurai, something like that - wearing armour sitting by a fireside or woodland, somewhere calm with my sword beside me, sometimes before battle, sometimes no armour but sitting peacefully.

I imagine this to be the personified strongest or most resilient “perfect” version of myself, that is unshakeable mentally, when dealing with current life stresses.

I focus on this “version” of me as an anchor before I empty my mind and acknowledge and observe my stresses (annoying colleagues, self doubt, life stress in general) and I return to this person when my mind drifts and attempt to behave as I think this version of me would

I find this visualisation great in every day life when a negative thought or emotion appears, it’s like an inner source of strength that is observing me observing my thoughts

No one ever taught me to meditate like this, it seemed to appear after many meditation sessions but I feel like I heard RZA briefly mention “warrior self” in a guided meditation.

Is this a thing In meditation and has anyone else had success with it ? I don’t always meditate like this but at least 80% of the time I do and I find it of great benefit, I suggest you try it my friends.

Would love to hear any stories if you meditate similar to this

Peace and love 🙏🏻

Metal heads, how to get Wes Borland tone from nobody loves me in a DAW

I love how dystopian the main guitar in this track is. (At 13 seconds in) How did he get tones like this? Was it the chords he played or the distortion he used ? Or both? Anyone any ideas or recommendations of vsts with this type sound
