Another question on using Bilt Cash to redeem for mortgage points

I just finished talking to the Bilt chatbot. This is my understanding:

if I want to do automatic Bilt cash redemption to earn points for my mortgage, I have to set up Bilt Pay inside the app and toggle the Bilt cash redemption.
if I keep my current set up (I have my mortgage servicer pull the money using Bilt routing number and account number), I can not redeem Bilt cash for mortgage points.
Anyone has DPs for the contrary? I am hesitant to switch to Bilt Pay as I remembered reading about missed mortgage payment when people set this up and the advice at the time was to have the mortgage servicer pull the money.
I have been on the housing option for a few months and things have worked great. But I just switch to Bilt Cash, as with my upcoming spending, the Bilt Cash option is more advantageous. Worse for me is that I just spent $200 Bilt Cash for the accelerator so I don’t want to switch back to housing.
Why they have to make this too complicated is beyond me.

What’s wrong with my western redbud?

In front yard, with afternoon sun, in zone 10B. Does not get any water directly, but since it butts up against a small section of the lawn, it does get water from there. And how to fix this? We are slowly converting the whole lawn area to natives, but it is stuck there for the time being. Thx.

Will Bilt rescind Welcome Bonus?

Hi,
I am looking for DPs on this. I recently applied for Bilt Palladium, spent 4k for 50K bonus points/ Gold status and $500 Bilt Cash. Received them. I had to return a small spend ($14) yesterday. I have more spending to do but I am waiting for rent day to double the points. Will Bilt rescind my bonus as my total spend is now below 4K?
