Has anyone done games on a smaller size board? I don’t have a 36 x 36 mat and I’m driving to a friend’s house this weekend to play. I have a 30 x 22 board from warcry and spearhead.
I know I can just measure out the board, but that’s no fun! Anyway, would love to know if anyone has used that size of board before.
Just got into this game and man I am LOVING the models! This is my Mr. Toodles all painted up. He was my goat (haha) in my last run, healing and boosting up Jayda’s movement and energy.
I got the starter set and my LGS has Monday Moonstone so I’m hoping to play this game more consistently than any of the others I’m into rn.
Do we know if there are Norse pagan/druidic factions planned for the future or even some homebrew rules available now? I have a few minis I’ve painted that are sort of a generic Nordic fantasy style but I love the thought of barbarians huffing shrooms to get a rage boost, diesel punk valkayries, and yoked out Druidic mutants, morphed with wild animals in both mind and body. Probably doesn’t match the aesthetics of world war 1 that most of the vibe is going for but I’m a sucker for Viking aesthetics…yes I have some space wolves in 40K but my main force is iron warriors!
Tomorrow is my friend’s birthday so I painted him as an ultramarine (yes I know the helmet is technically wrong)
My friend is a bit basic and loves logistics. Very much so a jack of all trades, master of none situation so I feel like the ultramarines are a great fit for him. I figured I’d show him off and ask what the pros think!
