2026 X50e Engine noise

Took home a 2026. When it’s in Hybrid or Sport and I accelerate it seems loud. Granted I’m coming from a fully electric but even my volvo xc90 is quieter.

Is this me overreacting? It’s the noise cause of the power of the car?

2026 BMW X5e Lease, IL

10% off MSRP, .00185 MF. They say $925 acquisition fee is always there and if other dealers don’t show it they are baking it into the price.

I likely won’t pass 7500 miles a year but for another $22 a month…

What’s looking like a decent deal on a 20256 PHEV?

Is it reasonable on a lease to ask for the baseline money factor for this car as well as 10% off MSRP for discounts and rebates?

****2026**** sorry about title error

Currently have a GV70 Electrified. Quiet ride, sleek design but boy is it glitchy. Interface is slow to start up, apps don’t work sometimes.

Anyway, it’s too small for my family of four well as our main car, and my wife wants to be higher off the ground.

Originally wouldn’t even consider another non-EV, but after testing the Vistiq, EX-90 EV9, IX, Rivian, the EX-90 is the clear winner. Sleekest design, best ride, fairly priced.

MY CONCERN: so many issues with this car keeping it out of commission for weeks to months. I’m sure the dealer would give me a loaner but why put myself in this position?

Few other thoughts:

Loved the R1S but so stupid you can’t turn off regen breaking all the way. It feels like you’re always fighting the resistance. On the Genesis I keep it at the lowest setting, and R1S was more noticeable.

EV9 is most functional but dislike the way it looks, their Telluride is much nicer. Not considering the Ioniq9 either; looks like a late model Durango. Again, new Palisade looks amazing, wish they had same body as EV.

I want to lease. With battery tech evolving I’d rather be ready to upgrade.

Kicker: also considering PHEVs now. Have an L2 charger at home, we rarely drive more than 40 miles a day. So I could still mostly drive electric and have the option to lease an X5, or XC-90 plug ins without the ugliness of the IX or risks of EX-90.

What do you all think? Worth the risk for EX-90? My other car is a 2021 XC90 so I’d also have two of the same car if I lease the EX, but I’ll take the ribbing from my neighbors.
