I need help with connecting my iPad to this cool little TV I got at a yard sale. I am a photographer and plan to display a slideshow on it at an upcoming event (no audio).

I tried connecting the TV to an AV to HDMI converter (which is powered by USB and plugged in to a good power source) into an HDMI to USBC adapter into my iPad, and all that I get is a white screen on the tv (first photo).

I've tried using a different power source, hdmi cable, and different device and still no luck.
