WE WERE ON A… wait, wrong couple
Well… I guess they weren’t each other’s lobster after all. 🦞😭
Time to rewatch The One with the Prom Video and pretend true love still exists.
First time kong bumili ng Chanel na bag 🥹
Share ko lang kasi sobrang saya ko. 🥹
I have a couple of luxury bags, pero ngayon lang talaga ako nagkaroon ng lakas ng loob to try chanel
Karla Estrada visits the wake of a student who died in the San Jose National High School shooting incident
Saw this circulating on Facebook. Karla personally visited the family to offer condolences.
Regardless of celebrity status, it’s always heartbreaking to see families grieving the loss of a child. Hopefully the victims and their loved ones get the justice and support they deserve.

UPDATE: LV honored the straight swap — my new Reverse Pochette Métis is here ✨
A few weeks ago, I posted about my 2017 Reverse Pochette Métis that developed a terrible fish-like odor despite being barely used and in otherwise excellent condition.

First, thank you to everyone who shared advice and experiences. I wanted to come back and provide an update since several people asked me to.
For anyone who didn’t see the original post, the bag was a gift, I did not have the original receipt, and LV determined that the odor issue qualified for an exchange. Initially, I was offered a credit of $2,050, which would have left me paying a significant difference for the current Reverse Pochette Métis.
After speaking with Client Services and respectfully requesting additional review, I explained that I wasn’t looking to upgrade to a different bag—I simply wanted the current equivalent of the same bag that had become unusable due to the odor issue.
Today, my brand-new Reverse Pochette Métis arrived. 🎉
LV ultimately honored the accommodation and approved the current model replacement. The current retail price is now $2,840, and I was only charged applicable sales tax.
I honestly never expected this outcome, especially considering the bag was from 2017 and I did not have the original receipt.
For anyone going through something similar: be polite, be patient, and advocate for yourself. If you genuinely believe your situation deserves additional review, it never hurts to respectfully ask.
And yes… the new bag smells much better than the old one. 😭😂
Thank you again to everyone who offered advice and encouragement throughout the process!
LV is replacing my 9 year old 2017 Pochette Métis with NO receipt and I’m still in shock
I’m still in shock and had to share because this whole situation has been a rollercoaster.
I have a 2017 Reverse Pochette Métis that was a gift, and the bag is basically spotless. Barely used, no stains, no damage, honestly looks almost new. But over time it developed a HORRIBLE fish-like odor. Not just inside — the smell was everywhere, inside and outside. It was so strong it made the bag hard to use.
After this happened, I started searching online and came across posts from people mentioning odor and material-related issues with older Pochette Métis bags, so I started wondering if this might have been an ongoing issue and not just something random with my bag.
I thought I was doomed because:
No receipt
It was a gift
It’s from 2017
I submitted a repair request expecting them to tell me there was nothing they could do. Instead, after speaking with LV, they approved an exchange and said they would apply my item’s full value toward another item. Then they sent another email saying my approved value is $2,050 and they may be able to accommodate an old model Pochette Métis → new model Pochette Métis as an equal-value swap 😭
Now I’m having a crisis because I LOVED my Reverse Pochette Métis and the current one is around $2,700. Part of me wants to do the straight swap because technically I’d be preserving the extra value instead of using only the $2,050 credit on another bag.
Has anyone here done an old Pochette Métis → new Pochette Métis swap? Did your store honor it? And if you had the choice… would you get the same bag again or choose something different?
