Interior Carpet Saveable?
Do you guys think its saveable? Tried WD-40, penetrating oil, bear bile, and upholstery cleaner, but it still stayed stained/spotty. I am assuming its rust from the metal...

Which oil? 1302 1971
Hey everyone, I’ve been rebuilding an old Beetle that sat for about 15 years. It’s a 1971 1302 manual with only 30k miles
At first it wouldn’t start, so I had to clean and fix a few things (fuel pump, carburetor, etc.).
I’ve done a lot of research across forums, but I still can’t decide whether I should use 15W-40 or 20W-50 oil.
I’m only planning to drive it during the summer.
