Feels like everyone’s carrying their stress onto Bangalore roads

Been riding in Bangalore for around 16 yrs now. Maybe it’s just me getting older, but I feel people have changed more than the roads have.
Everyday you see someone shouting, honking like mad, abusing, trying to pick a fight over the smallest thing. Earlier also there was traffic, but I don’t remember people getting this worked up so often.
I honestly think it’s not just because of traffic. Cost of living keeps going up, jobs are stressful, salaries for many people aren’t really keeping up. Everyone is carrying some tension. Then you get stuck in traffic for 1 or 2 hrs and one small mistake by someone is enough to make people explode.
I ride to office almost everyday and sometimes with my daughter too. It genuinely feels like you have to be alert all the time, not just because of accidents but because you don’t know who’ll lose their temper next.
I know everyone has their own problems. I do too. But can we pls not bring all that anger onto the road? The guy next to you is probably also having a bad day and just wants to reach home safely.
Maybe I’m wrong. Just wanted to know if anyone else who’s been in Bangalore for a long time feels the same.
