No Candy set this week?

Asking from the other side of the world as someone who's invested in the bizarre creative adventures of King Gizz (and this whole residency has been slightly bonkers) and who's always uplifted by the knowledge that, somewhere out there, they're having fun making music.

Don't slip on the drip, Captain Haddock...

Rereading my old Tintin books and came across this in Tintin and the Picaros. Some might say "false reference" (feel free to remove if so) but I say "ha, this is fun" and "timetravelling and medium-metamorphosising Gizz covers band showing up in a vintage comic, woo!"

Anyone else enjoying the new Slift album?

Weirdo Swarmers who are into Slift and on this, what do you think of Fantasia?

My early impression is "whoa, this is fantastic" and another epic and immersive experience to totally lose yourself in. It feels a bit more accessible than other albums (partly because of the shorter length) but is still packed with the beautiful, pounding waves of sound, storyweaving and sense of cosmic awe that these guys do so well. Early days, my fave track is probably Corrupted Sky ('cause I'm a sucker for pretty synths and metal guitar noodling breakouts).

Recommended for Gizzheads who love prog and dark, heavy psych. (Mods: there's definitely fanbase overlap but feel free to delete if it's not Gizz-related enough!)

Shared by Lucas on his Insta. I'm not sure what I'm looking at (aside from the fact it's Mind Fuzz era), but I'm sure someone here will know.
