Map and Backstory of "Elgrims Chosen"

I prepared the Map. I was to lazy to paint hexes went with bricks instead. Since i am bad at drawing i will use pictogramm like drawings. I added some runes, words and translations to deadspace on the map for ambience. The Map has 22 squares. Should that not be enough i will add another 22 atop with a second sheet of paper. I wanna do a shorter campaign.

Here a small backstory written by me in german and translated by AI. Since the wardancers go with somekind of celtic Theme in the book i used tribal celtic and germanic elements to reflect that:

The Eleni Tribe

The Eleni were a tribe of natives who once lived in the central hill lands of what is now known as No Man’s Land. They worshipped a divine couple: Elgrim, the Elk God, and his wife Elen, the Lady of the Spiritual Paths. Their people lived scattered across a dozen villages and two sanctuaries — one dedicated to Elgrim and one to Elen. They were known as healers and spiritual seekers, respected for their balanced nature and defensive way of life.

During the long war, they became frequent targets for armies and mercenaries. Many of their villages were burned, and Elen’s sanctuary was reduced to ashes. They were robbed, violated, and slaughtered again and again. Now, with the land left in ruins, the survivors have simply been abandoned to their fate.

Filled with rage, the remaining Eleni gathered at Elgrim’s sanctuary. Sacrifices were offered, the Godfather was consulted, old weapons and armor were reforged, and warriors were chosen (Elgrims Chosen). The Chosen now march — not to heal, but to punish this rotting world and reclaim their ancestral lands.

They will live in peace again…

once their enemies lie dead in the dust.

My Dark Nature Warband

I am trying to do a dark Nature themed Warband. Using Rotswords for champion/Veteran and frostgrave cultists for rekruts. My problem is that i dont want to play a demonic cohort (i am not into the demon part). To me these are just natives like the askelian wardancers. But i dont wanna play wardancers because those dont use armor. Is there any solution to my problem?

Swampy rotting pond for small skirmish games

finally finished this little pond. It is meant to work for small skirmish games like frostgrave or greathelm and i want to embed it into a slightly large diorama-esque plate i am building.

Wooden walkways made out of big toothpicks.

Big maggots sculpted freehand with greenstuff and painted with nurgle colours.

Made the tree out of large office clips and wet toiletpaper and some cottonwool standing in for spiderwebs and the usual gunk hanging from trees.

I made the stepping stones myself with a form bought of amazon and some speckle (? i think is the right english word).

yesterday poured in the epoxy. Did put too little paint into the epoxy so the water looks clearer then i wanted it to look, but i think its fine.

The water is supposed to be dangerous therefore despit the little depth players cant walk their miniatures thorugh it without risking damage to them (from maggot attacks or the poison).
