Two days in a row I have seen drivers disregard baby geese and ducks trying to cross the street. Both times the birds almost were struck by vehicles. They are only babies for a few weeks out of the year, they won't be an inconvenience for long. I have never seen people behave like that when fuzzy baby birds try to cross the street.
Please, don't be a jerk, put on your 4 way blinkers and just wait for them to cross.
Edit: thank you all for loving on these birds. Also, thanks for the award .
A book translated from French into English that I read around 2015. The book was a relatively new publication at the time. The story follows a middle aged group of men. I remember one passage about women's midriffs showing. I think there was a cancer subplot, like the main character is told they have cancer and didn't. Someone at the time told me the author is well known for writing comedy fiction and I remember having never heard of the author.
