Ordered a $5000 GPU from Best Buy and they used OnTrac to ship it. How screwed am I?

HLL PC saying "Failed to request directory. Please try again."

Hi there! I just bought HLL on PC today. I installed it through steam and when I launched the game, I get this. I am using a wired network with 2Gbps bandwidth, have tried reinstalling the game, followed the steam community support article (some people had this issue a few years back but none of their fixes worked here), and still have no luck fixing it.

Has anyone else on PC encountered this issue? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated!

SOLVED: Proton VPN was launching on startup and was active. I disabled it and now I am able to play the game.
