This is my sweet boy Marble. I woke up this morning about my usual time and found out power was out. No matter, got my hurricane lamp out and some OJ. Went back.up stairs and sat on my floor. In all other ways, it was a normal morning. I let him out so he could come in my room and have morning pets and hops. Marble, however, was pretty thrown off by all this. He was aloof, on guard, and throwing thumps my way.

Once power came back on, he settled right down. He had his breakfast salad, got his love and had a nice forage and flop.

He was really put off by the power being off. I can only guess it was due to.the silence? No AC humming, no fan noises. Any one else notice something similar?

I lost my Clover to heart disease in January and have missed her every day since. I promised her we'd find a bunny that needed us and make a home for them. Went down to the Humane Society yesterday and found him hiding in his igloo, afraid to come out. I knew then he was the one. He needed a family to love him. The change in 20 hours is amazing! The guy who seemed depressed is hopping and binkying around my loft! We haven't made it to the bedroom yet as stairs are still scary! I have a feeling he was someone's pet but was dumped :( as he was found outside and brought in.

Now he has a family who is so excited to have a bunny again and loves him so much. Still not for certain on a name but that will come in time.
