Moving to La Crosse and looking to connect with the local fitness/rehab/sports performance community
Hellooo La Crosse!
I’m moving to the area soon and I’m hoping to get a little lay of the land from people who know the local fitness, sports, and healthcare scene.
I’m an endurance and performance coach, and my work sits somewhere between traditional personal training and rehab/performance. I work with endurance athletes, recreational athletes, and also the very-not-athlete population who just wants to stay strong, capable, and active while working a normal 9–5 and dealing with the occasional ache and pain.
Right now, I’m working as an in-house trainer at a chiropractic/rehab practice, where I work alongside the clinical side and provide strength, mobility, and performance coaching. It’s a setup I really enjoy, and as I relocate to La Crosse, I’d love to find something similar.
I’m interested in finding a part-time coaching/training role, contractor arrangement, or collaborative position with a:
• chiropractic or rehab practice
• physical therapy clinic
• sports medicine practice
• performance facility
• endurance/sports training facility
• private training studio
• or another healthcare/wellness setting where strength and movement are part of the bigger picture
I’m also open to working with individual clients independently, so I’m definitely not limiting myself to traditional employment.
I’d particularly love to connect with people who are already working in these spaces, or anyone who knows of a practice/facility within roughly 30minutes of La Crosse that might be a good fit. I know there are some great communities and facilities north of La Crosse as well, but I’m still learning the area.
If you work in PT, chiropractic, sports medicine, strength & conditioning, endurance sports, or a related field—or you know someone I should talk to—I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
I’m less interested in another big-box gym and much more interested in finding the people doing thoughtful, community-oriented work around performance, longevity, movement, and keeping people active.
Thanks in advance!
