>!With what we saw in episode 4 and the court case I am so incredibly confused how Niall and Albi will 1. Get back together after what Ruben did to him, decades later but Jesus why would you touch that with a ten foot pole-but 2. Have a relationship deep enough for them to get married with Albi still having the knowledge that Ruben is out there and not behind bars. My theories are as follows, and I’m curious if anyone else had ideas: (also if you somehow know spoilers from leaks or trailer information please don’t share I do really want to avoid as much of that as possible)!<

1. >!Somehow it is a setup/fake wedding. Ruben and Niall in the next couple episodes are going to reach a level of batshit toxic entanglement that results in Niall agreeing to string Albi along and manipulate him into a relationship and wedding. Why, I am unclear, but I just feel like there’s a certain tension underlying everything that makes me feel Niall isn’t really “in it” and excited about marrying Albi. !<
2. >!Albi has been so traumatized by Ruben’s actions that he’s gone down a similar path to Niall and is involving himself in very toxic/dangerous situations and gets back with him due to a disregard for himself and his own well-being !<
3. >!Kind of a varietal of the former two theories: maybe somehow Ruben threatened to harm Albi behind the scenes if he didn’t get back with Niall and is using this to control this aspect of his life too. A less insidious version would be that he “set them up” to meet again in some form so he could “make it up” to Niall in a weird perverse way and/or still exercise control over him.                               !<

>!I wouldn’t be surprised if elements of the final one end up being true. Ruben has been the “soundtrack to all of Niall’s greatest moments”, he literally nods his approval for him to say “I do”, and somehow this is all going to culminate in Ruben dead. Ruben cannot stomach the idea of not having his fingers in any aspect of Niall’s life and has a compulsive need to exercise control over him. The biggest mind fuck that could happen in his final moments is he somehow plays a part in organizing and orchestrating this wedding (also wouldn’t shock me if Niall’s mom is involved she KNEW he was coming), and then dying knowing that he made this important day and ultimately Niall’s life all in service to him. !<
