Was the butt smelling really necessary?

At this point it’s just being nasty to be nasty. How does it even make sense! Cats and dogs don’t hump each other. Either they are a cat and dog respectively, or they aren’t.

I get they are supposed to be gathering information on each others health. I still could have done without seeing it. They were even just saying what they ate, which makes no sense cause lunch would still be in their upper GI tract. They are smelling yesterday’s dinner.

We already know they were disgusting, dogknott ate out a dog, sheline ate crows and had a litter box. We could imagine the rest. Less is more.

We are in the episode before the finale. They are starting to use the nasty to cover for the lack of plot. Usually I’m fine with the nasty, it’s the boys after all, but at this point it’s just pointless. Well, unless the point is more satire about catwoman. (Which is a really pointless thing, who cares about catwoman).

Techkngjht made sense when it was an earlier season. The stakes are too high now to waste time on pointless satire.

Edit: it’s just the pacing is off. We get vital background for butcher in 5 minutes of the entire episode, nearly the last episode too. That information should have been provided so much earlier. It’s just another excuse to drench UE in more blood and guts. Which makes no sense when he was already covered in maverick earlier in the season.

Edit 2: about the rat checkovs gun. It was introduced too late. Not even ten min it es before I think. It was obvious to me it was going to be used. They used the rat to explain the scene. Not the way around. We have seen that studio so many times this season. Never have we ever seen a rat problem.

MM has mostly gotten over his OCD, we know this when he drinks toilet water in the camps. So why is he scared of a random rat? That whole camp must have been full of them. Especially in the bastement where they made their cocktails.

Edit 3: cats and dogs smelling other species asses or same sex companions is to check for infections. It’s health preserving mechanism. To see if they are safe to be around. They do it to humans too.

I have never seen a dog or cat trying to jump each other. There is no sexual component to it. Nor is it necessary to smell the taco you had for lunch. They should be able to smell it on your breath, not ass.

Edit 4: I have never complained about the nasty in the show. The scenes with termite were gold. Herogasm was great. The Deep and hi Octopus had character development for him. This scenes always had something other that shock value to add to the story. It doesn’t feel that way this time. The writers and directors did a great job adapting what apparently is a disturbing comic. The first 3 seasons had purposefully, shock, and gore.

I have defended it in the past. I was shocked myself this episode that i didn’t like it or saw a purpose to it.

I just finished a shiny hunt after three hours and 5 sandwich with sparkling 3 power. On my quest to get all shiny starters. Except gen 9.

I think that’s the most sandwiches I’ve ever used for one hunt before, and it’s not even close. Sometimes a single sandwich have given me three shinies in half an hour.

What are your worst hunts, where rng just wasn’t on your side? Share your pain!

Edit: I got one poplio in three hours after 5 sandwiches with sparkling power 3 and encounter power 3 during a mass breakout.
