I'm seriously anticipating getting this line, I'm so excited!! UK has already got them so I wonder when I should ge on the lookout for them in Australian stores

Imagine in a different timeline Sony decided to release ps6 as a console that has backwards compatibility all way to the ps1 and it came with like 5tb of storage or smth. And they would make it possible to order/purchase any generation disc with the casing resembling the original plus being able to get the games online on the dedicated digital store (that doesnt hold licensing over your head). And the base controller would reference/ incorporate all previous controllers in its design but also stand out on its own.

A sequential line of controllers would come with the original colour palettes of every previous controller..kinda like what they did for the 30th anniversary.

And you could customise the OS to exactly replicate the former ones along with a new OS. Not just changing the border of the screen and adding sound effects but like the real deal, imagine experience the horror of the ps2 fail sound except its smth u can toggle for shits and giggles.

Its a fun concept.. if trillionares can exist in our timeline then something as generous as this would be on the opposite spectrum of mediocrity. But yeah thats just a fever dream. Kinda reminds of those days when people would "leak the next iPhone" and it was smth like Ben 10's watch with 3 phone screens.
