I’m coming in as a transfer and I got my ucship waiver approved. Afterwords I saw I got around 3k awarded on my financial aid portal becuz I waived it but then it disappeared… has this happened to anyone else and if it’s gonna come back I barely got financial aid and I need the money
Is it a normal thing for coaches to have the lights on during class? I hate it when the lights r on becuz it just makes me feel chopped since everyone can see me huffing and puffing and I get hyper aware of my surroundings. I think this usually happens in coach in training classes but recently it’s been going on with ppl that have been coaching for a while. The coaches r like “the lights will go off” BUT THEY R BRIGHT AS DAY. maybe this is a technical issue idk but it’s lowkey ruining my classes
has anyone been able to successfully switch their transfer new student orientation date? I keep calling the phone number to switch it but i keep being put on hold for hours and someone said they’re on summer break 😭
I need to send in my final transcript for ucla by july 1st but I go to de anza which is on a quarter system and the quarter doesn’t end until june 26-27. I heard it might take. week for my transcript to get finalized so that would be july 4th. What do I dooo it’s not my fault ughh
did anyone else get a ucla email with the title above? I checked my financial aid portal but there was no difference in my aid and there’s no button to check my college financing plan. Idk what this means, I thought maybe they increased my aid because i messaged them above it or they’re just pranking me…
On tuesday I was trying to reverse park but I hit a tesla and the alarm started going off!
I started freaking out and called my friend over and then I started to look for parking then forgot I had to obviously leave a note so I drove back after I circled around for 3-5 min tryna find parking. I ripped up my class notes and wrote my phone number and full name and explained that I hit their license plate since it looked a bit bent.
I wrapped the paper like two times on the wiper since it was windy that day and then went inside the cafe i was supposed to go to freaking out about it.
After examining the photo I had took it looks like there’s a dent that’s pretty unnoticeable in person but the dust from my chopped car makes it look worse. After going back out after an hour to see if the car is still there the car is gone??
It’s now friday and I haven’t even told my parents yet and the owner still hasn’t contacted me. I’m worried they r gonna call my insurance/ claim that I did a hit and run / make the damages seem way worse than it is.

I freaked out and circled the parking lot until I left a note with my first and last name and phone number and wrote something like please contact me for money or something like that I was freaking out. I wrapped it around the windshield wiper cuz it was fairly windy but the back of the ripped paper had my homework notes on it. After going into the cafe and coming out an hour later the car disappeared! I’m afraid they didn’t see it or thankfully they didn’t care enough to contact me. I rlly hope my insurance doesn’t get involved becuz that would financially affect my parents. I’m 18 and I’ve never been in an accident in my life, and I swear i’m a decent driver.
funny enough I got a call from an unknown number and I thought it was them but it was just a wrong number
Everyone said I would have no problem finding a roommate, but I have no luck. I’ve been following and texting ppl that post on the transfer account, and I even posted myself on there aswell. I texted a bunch of ppl and got ghosted by basically everyone tbh. Some ppl never replied to my introductory text asking to be friends/ potential roomates or some ppl stop responding after the first few texts back and forth. On my end, I longest I took to reply was like 2 days. I was talking to thing one girl and it was going great and I was gonna pop the question if she wanted to be my roommate, but when I asked She said she already found them… Like I didn’t know I had to be fast with it! Some ppl also immediately say that they found roomates after posting it like a day or 2 ago, and I’m just assuming that they are still looking for one but they just don’t wanna room with me. Some people even say that they are talking to people about being potential roomates but they’ll let me know… Like am I just insanely mega chopped wtf!!! My friends told me not to take it personally but it feels horribly personal because this is just them assuming that they have seen my insta profile and transfer post and that’s l they can look back on! I rlly don’t wanna do random and find somebody on my own but I just feel so alone and I haven’t even officially committed yet! FUCK!! srry for the rant

Last wednesday I reported a class change on my UCLA portal because I dropped my psyc3 class which was not required at all but since I dropped it i’m now only taking 2 classes but I have a bunch of units so i’m basically done with everything. I don’t think they’ll rescind me right?!?! Like my counselor said it’s fine but i lowkey don’t trust them idk. Also they said they’ll get back to me in 15 business days but that’s so long bruuu if they take that long imma be mad cuz that’s basically on bruinday :(
