Entertaining two young kids 7/5 for two days

Hello Lancaster, what to do with two young kids for approximately two days? My wife has to sort her fathers end of life out and I need to distract munchkins. I've perused the group comments and seen blvd, art museum, mini golf, nature trails, etc. I'm down for all those and it would probably be enough for my kids... However if there was some really cool or unique thing, I would like to see it. The kids are tough, we're willing to drive a bit, rent a thing, listen to a show, smell a weird cheese, etc.

Whatcha got for me?

Black berries off the Truckee

If anyone likes back berries they're popping off right now.

Police activity at mccarren and mae ann?

Road is blocked off at the intersection and I see lots of emergency vehicles. Does anyone know what's going on?

Good morning Reno!

We had some friends and their kids over last night for a birthday party. Wifu had gotten me a pair of uv flashlights so we (dads) took the kids for like a 1/4mile walk expecting to see nothing. Boy we're we wrong. Mysterious glowing bushes, radio active dog poop, crazy sand, scorpions, etc.

Tick! I would never believe it but my dog got one

I lived on the east coast for a decade and got lots of ticks there but never have I seen one here. I'm cool with widows and rattlers but fuck ticks. NW above the mccarren loop. Stay safe.
