Hey! It's now been a week since the evil spammers were smited, and you guys were able to post again...

I want to say a huge thanks to everyone who has gotten on board and posted, commented and upvoted! We managed to gain 71 new members this last week, which may not sound huge, but is actually a 2% membership gain. Not bad 😌

In other matters, if there is anyone out there reading this that has been previously banned from the subreddit for reasons they don't agree with (or are now sorry and promise to behave), please send a modmail so we can discuss lifting the ban.

I do want a firm line on rudeness and disruptors, but I believe people deserve a chance to do better and fix these things.

Hello, are there any fairly new apartments in Palmdale/Lancaster? Looking to move out to the area in a few months and having trouble finding the good areas or apartments that aren’t super dated. Budget under $2800/mo. Ideally 2bd/2ba with all appliances.

I have been told to stay west of the interstate as a general suggestion.

I applied for Vello Valley and put down a deposit, but haven’t heard anything back from them for days now.

I’m an investigative documentarian and I received a tip to look into missing persons cases in this area. After doing some research, the amount of missing children in this area is alarming (and don’t seem to be getting much attention)

I wanted to bring some attention this, so if anyone has any specific cases that come to mind that have really piqued your interest, please feel free to share them with me.

The spammers stripped this place to the bones so I've had to redo a lot of stuff. Which unfortunately means new rules - mostly because I have no idea what they used to be.

The gist is? Keep it on topic, don't be rude and absolutely no booty call crap. I will be aggressively moderating the rudeness and lewdness out. And so it's said: I want us to be welcoming, helpful and informative. Not a cesspit of smartasses. Please report anything that doesn't align with that.

I have about 20 boxes of cereal that I bought but have decided to reduce my Carb intake significantly, so wont be eating them.

I've been trying to book a massage for next week for the past week and a half but everybody seems to be all booked up for the next couple weeks at least. Can anybody please recommend a nice place I can book a massage for that day? I have personally never had a professional massage before so I have no idea which places I should try.
