How easy is it to align EE to CE here

I’m incoming EE student but my passion has always been computer engineering but I was fear mongered away from it when applying because of the unemployment but now regretting it and I know changing to it is going to be difficult (I would have 3/4 points max) how would I align myself to work in computer engineering/software is it easy here?
