I'm just curious if there is someone in this group who recently bought or knows someone who recently bought an RTX 5090 or 6000 PRO.

Why did you do it? Why were you willing to spend so much money on it, and what value will this provide for you/your company?

I just want to know why people are paying these prices.

I got some serious FOMO for the TP 4 and orderd one more 5090 for 4300€ - it was the Xtreme waterforce WB - but still very expensive.

Quick question: I bought some Hardware without having a real plan - just for fun and it happend over few months.

6x3090 nv link in pairs
2x5090

I run local AI, some ComfyUI and want to be set for whatever comes next.

BUT - im not using all that hardware at once. So what way to go?

Sell the 3090s and get two more 5090?

Sell evererything and go for a 6000 pro?

Right now im using the 2x2NvLink 3090.

Each pair holds a model so i dont have to load it everytime when i change.

The 5090 was great for ComfyUI - but adding a second one did not give me faster video generation. So that was disapointing

So what would you do? Speed or more Vram? What would be better for the future?

Or just go for the 6000 Pro like i should have in the first place?
