heat/humidity/bugs in SC

coming from a Montana native raised by a Spartanburg mom. We used to ride horses & now live south of Denver for work. The 4seasons are wonderful, its never “too hot” it never hits 90 its always comfortably dry, bugs are minimal, it’s real pretty in mile high CO… BUT- its just too expensive & WAY too many people in CO now. I always loved visiting the northwest area of SC & with Charleston/Tennessee/Smokies being within 3hrs seems like the perfect state to plant roots. The southerners are SO friendly & the food here is MUCH better. But I got a serious question no jokes- how do y’all manage the heat/humidity/bugs here? Is it really that bad after so many years? I hunt/fish/camp/paddleboard/HarleyRides/hiking/4wheeling everything. Is it ever “too hot” to get outdoors here? Gimme an honest glimpse of living in SC.

Lifelong Dream Truck

My 2019 Tundra 5.7L simple base with: leather interior, bed cover, short-cab-long-bed setup, 4WD & column shifter all blacked out. 30K ORIGINAL MILES with a clean title. Literally every single thing I wanted in my dream Tundra. I didn't need the extra fancy features. At only 25, after years of hoping praying working hard & a little grace from the bank, I finally have my dream truck. (Ignore the payment I can currently afford it & am setup to refi when my score hits 700 I'm being BURRIED with this truck)
