Hanna might be small in size but she is an experienced heavy weapons operator. Her preference are MGs such as the MG3 and MG5 which she usualy fields in the plents of field exercises she participates in.
Small yet able to unleash pure wrath upon her enemies, befitting her Hellhound nickname.

Hanna's deployment changed her. She became calmer and more collected but the scars show. Not just the visbile ones but also the invisible ones.

Hi all,
I recently got my homelab to the point I can consider a backup strategy. I have a remote proxmox server that runs a few small vms and containers. I mainly use it for 24/7 availability services such as a small internal DNS, IPAM and later a paperless instance and some docker containers.
I got an offsite storage server available were I would be able to allocate up to 3TB for backup purposes. The servers can reach each other via VPN tunnel.
I was thinking of doing a hybrid approach of regular snapshots and ocassional full backups with the VM shutdown at night.
I am wondering about the frequency of things. There isn't much data change so I was thinking of a weekly snapshot and maybe monthly backup but what are your takes and experiences?
Texas is the Supreme Fleet Admiral of the Union Armed Forces, a hyperadvanced and ancient collective of planets inhabited by the kitsune race. She is a former human whose discontent with earth and humanity led her to admire Union, become one of it's most prominent officers and eventually become one of them, giving up being a human.
Summary:
Texas Kaelis Astra was born on Earth in Luxembourg, but Union became the first society that truly made sense to her. Before she ever held rank, she had already spent years learning how to organize people, repair failing systems, build structure and carry responsibilities others avoided. Earth left her disillusioned, but Union offered something different: a disciplined civilization where hierarchy was supposed to serve the people, authority was tied to duty, and military order existed for protection rather than ego. When a UAF Group Commander noticed her during a deep exploration mission, Texas was not recruited as a finished officer, but given a chance to observe, learn and prove whether her instincts could survive real Union Armed Forces life.
Aboard a UAF vessel, Texas absorbed shipboard procedure, Union history, doctrine, command culture and technical routines with unusual speed. She did not chase rank for prestige; she made herself useful, supported training, improved workflows, buried herself in administrative work and stayed close to the crew. This led to an irregular appointment as Ensign and placed her on the officer-candidate track while she was effectively already deployed. By the time the vessel returned to Union space, she had risen through field appointments to Captain, and the academy did not so much create her competence as verify and regularize what operational service had already proven.
Her rise through the UAF was defined by repeated command failures that she was forced to stabilize. On a destroyer, she restored order after the commanding officer was killed and the executive officer froze, then deliberately preserved the XO’s dignity rather than taking glory for herself. Later, aboard a battleship, she gained capital-ship experience, filled temporary command gaps and eventually held a crippled ship in combat long enough to cover a withdrawal, evacuate her crew and stop enemy pursuit. Those actions led to her validation as a Commander and her assignment to the Aurora, the Union Armed Forces flagship, which became the center of her identity as a commander.
As commander of the Aurora, Texas became more than a battlefield officer. She acted as a mobile stabilizing force for Union: patrolling contested sectors, supporting UDF forces, escorting diplomacy, deterring enemies, coordinating with ground assets and representing Union authority where force alone would have been too crude. Her defining break came when she disobeyed orders to save a collapsing Union homeworld defense, proving that her loyalty was not to procedure for its own sake, but to Union, its people and the purpose behind the UAF. Later, after leaving formal service over corruption and returning when the institution began correcting itself, she rose through crisis, conspiracy and war to become Supreme Fleet Admiral and Supreme Commander of the Union Armed Forces. Her arc is not simply about power or rank, but about an outsider who found a home in Union, then became one of the people most responsible for defending what Union was supposed to mean.

Charlotte is a Major within the Luxembourg Armed Forces and a princess within the Royal Household. She has been a former Feldwebel within the German Armed Forces due to her circumstances and amnesia which made her unable to remember her true origin.
Summary:
Charlotte was born as the eldest daughter of Henri and Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and was raised as a Princess of Luxembourg within the House of Nassau and Bourbon-Parma. From a young age she was surrounded by court life, Luxembourgish heritage, royal expectations and the quiet understanding that she carried a certain dynastic importance. However she was never just some passive royal child. She was curious, stubborn and drawn toward systems, technology, radios, institutions and the practical workings behind the world around her.
When she was fourteen she vanished during a semi-official royal visit to Sweden. The abduction was originally meant as political leverage against Luxembourg and also a humiliation of Swedish security, but things went wrong inside the organization that had taken her. Through confusion, altered records and internal compartmentalization, Charlotte was separated from the hostage chain and eventually swallowed into one of their classified research branches. There she was no longer treated as a princess or even a hostage, but as a subject for a soldier-hybrid bioengineering program.
Over the following years she was altered into a snow-fox derived human hybrid and later placed into long-term stasis after the organization failed to break her into obedience. When she finally escaped after a transport accident, she had lost almost everything about herself. She did not remember Luxembourg, her family, her title, her childhood or what had been done to her. All she had left was the name Charlotte. Under state protection she was given the protected identity Charlotte Edelgard and slowly rebuilt herself through recovery, education, communications technology and eventually service in the Bundeswehr.
Her restoration only came later, when investigations into the shadow organization uncovered enough evidence to reveal that Charlotte Edelgard was in truth the lost princess of Luxembourg. This did not suddenly make her comfortable with royalty or ceremony. If anything it left her shaken, because she had already built herself as a soldier and technician before being handed back a heritage she could barely remember. She was returned to Luxembourg, reunited with her family, restored to her title and slowly prepared for royal and military duty. In the end her arc is not just about a lost princess returning home, but about a damaged soldier choosing to carry a crown as another form of service.

Hanna is a Stabskorporal within the Bundeswehr. She is part of the Jägertruppe in a heavy weapons specialist and combat instructor role. She usually leads practical combat classes or leads a Trupp on the field while sharing her expertise.
Summary:
She is a country girl born in rural Germany. She enlisted right as she turned 18 and was burning with drive. Comrades described her style as very aggressive and borderline reckless.
Hanna has seen deployments into the middle east where she earned the nickname Hellhound for her rather aggressive fighting style. She suffered minor injuries on her first deployment. She came to eventually learn to be more restrained and thought out. She sadly ended up suffering more severe damage which sent her back home with multiple injuries that healed over two years during where she was restricted to light duty and administrative work for which she temporarily joined the PR department.
When she returned to active duty she was assigned to a new unit as her original deployment cycle and comrades had either left the force or were killed during that last engagement. So she is left to try and integrate into a new unit with the lingering trauma of knowing how easily people can get killed. This gave her a rather strict attitude and no-nonsene approach making her seem hard to approach and as having a stick up her ass especially among the younger inexperienced peers. However given her experience she is commonly utilized as an instructor and advisor relying on her combat deployments.
