I know I will inevitably have to pick him up again for the Hallowed Concepts skin

Pretty much the title, I'm working on a hypothetical team (for fun) that focuses quite a bit into Trick Room (about half my team) and I know speed control is a pretty big part of doubles. In the team, I'm planning on having Milotic as a bulky support via Life Dew, and I'm giving it some dragon and ground coverage with Ice Beam. Not necessarily something that will be focused into Trick Room, but something that can play decently within it regardless.

Now, most people I've seen running it opt for Icy Wind instead for the speed lowering, but is that something I'd want in a Trick Room team? Some of the other key mons I'm considering are extremely slow for that reason such as Hatterene (the Trick Room setter), Kingambit, and Aegislash (in which I'm planning a -speed nature for). I know being viable outside of Trick Room is something I'd want to consider, but is speed control from lowering my opponent's speed the play?

The main thing I'm doing to secure Trick Room is having a redirector with Follow Me like Indeedee F, primarily because of its access to Psychic Surge to prevent Fake Out (again, not looking at any specific game, just a team I'm building for fun). Of course, that's not something I can always open up with, hence my other team members. That said, in the event I'd want to open up/switch in Milotic, is speed control that necessary or would I be able to work around potential threats without it? Thanks in advance for the advice!
