I just got Emerald, what are the priority things I should be improving now ?

Hello everyone,

I've been one tricking Viktor midlane for the past 2 months and I just love him.

I kind of just brute forced my way through Gold and Plat, but last games felt way harder to carry, so I need to get more in depth with the champion.

From what I learned by theory and experience, Viktor is giga strong 1v1, but I am struggling to isolate my lane properly. If enemy has a strong mid/jungle set up, I find it really hard to survive ganks without flash. Also, most junglers don't get that he's trash in early skirmishes and try to force plays that I really don't like. Should I follow them and pray (because they are going to do it anyway), or should I lean on the more egoistical approach as Viktor ?

I also can not really grasp his identity early game. I get that he's a scaling mage, but at the same time he feels quite strong early. Is he a lane bully who should try to solokill ? Are you supposed to "force" the enemy jungler to gank you ? Or should I chill down and just farm ?

Finally in the mid late game, I'm by default trying to push side waves into rotating mid/objectives, but I find it very hard to put pressure on the map without TP. The few times I tried ghost, it felt amazing in teamfights, but I found it really hard to be on time to said teamfights.

I know these may be game dependent but I have bot been able to lay my finger on what parameters decide which to chose.

I feel like all of this is applicable to other immobile mages, so if you have Viktor specific tips I would gladly take them :)

Well, I guess I can leave Locke open now...

Damn.

They really killed your boy, sorry for your loss... I used to ban him because he was way too overtuned imo, but this won't even be fun to face him now.

I would love to face this champ in a healthy state, so I hope he at least gets some mid-late game compensation next patch.

WILD is easy, you just have to fuck your sleep schedule up (kind of)

So I am kinda new in the lucid dreaming thing and I had never heard of the WILD technique before coming accross this sub.

However, I get sleep paralysis quite frequently. Thay are not really recurrent, but they are systematic. What happens is that I have one or two very bad nights or bad sleeing hours (due to a party, insomnia, etc...). Then, my first real good night of sleep after messing around systematically induces a sleep paralysis when falling asleep.

Sometimes it just feels terrible and I try to get out of it as fast as possible, but sometimes they are very chill and I just accept them and relax. When the latter happens, I tend to naturally slip into a licid dream state which I can hold for quite some time. As I said I am not very familiar with the terminology but it looks like WILD.

TL;DR : If you want to use WILD, just party two days in a row and drink some alcohol, but it will come at the cost of your sleep and can result in a very bad sleep paralysis.

Sorry if my English is sloppy, not my first language
