Legion 5 with Ryzen 7 260 always reach 100C CB23

When I run Cinebench R23 it will always hit 100°C at some point.

I changed paste to PTM and I lifted the backside of laptop to allow more airflow during the test.

Is this a normal thing for this laptop?
In normal use and gaming the temps will jump around between 60-90°C depending on title, rarely ever hitting 100°C

I know that CB is a synthetic benchmark and sort of unrealistic workload, but Im just curious whether my Laptop is a bad unit or is it a common experience.

EDIT:
Using Performance mode in LLT, have newest drivers and bios etc.

LeGo 1 - adding eGPU. Good Idea or rabbit hole of issues?

I have LeGo for about a year and a half now and I enjoy playing on it in handheld 800p mode, but sometimes I want to lay down on my couch and play on TV rather than holding the console.

I usually play older games from 2010-2020 era or such. Playing in 1080p low/med settings is somewhat decent, but quite often there are dips, stutters or just plain sub 30fps performance depending on title. I would also want to play some new AAA games at least 1080p/60fps low at times.

I was thinking about slapping an eGPU dock like one of Aoostars and then buy a used RTX 4070 to get some smooth 1080p/60fps on high settings in most games.

I read that there were some issues with stability, crashes or console shutting down etc. tied to ports overheating or CPU boosting too high and destabilizing the Thunderbolt or other funky stuff.

Questions I have:
- how stable is it now? Does it still need lots of tinkering or is it more of plug and play experience?
- how is the performance? Is 4070 the sweet spot or would i be better off grabbing something cheaper instead?
- wouldnt I be better off just waiting a bit and getting some newer handhelds that will have Intel B390 or such?
