103 pounds down and 17 months later

I’m making this post a pound early. I’m content with my current weight. I didn’t know if I would stop in my 170’s or 160’s. I can’t believe time flew like this and I look and feel like my old self again. The new attention is a lot. You don’t quite forget the feelings of being ignored or treated a way after gaining weight. This journey hasn’t been super easy when I was also dealing with grief. But the med helped me to be consistent and keep the weight off. I’m glad it took me over a year to lose 100 pounds. I did not want to lose it really quickly.

I’m content at my current weight. When I’m under 190, I hold my weight well, so people never really know how much I weigh. I started recently getting the skinny comments from folks. A little annoying to hear bc technically my weight isn’t close to being considered skinny to the health professionals. But I chose 165 because I don’t want to be thin and I want to be far away from 200. It’s easy for me to slip back into the 200’s. This is the 2nd time I’ve lost weight. The first time I dropped 50 pounds. That was about 10 years ago. I went from 180’s to around 220ish. This second time around I gained about 40 more.

I put on a pair of jeans that are a size 10, yesterday. Idk the last time I was under a 12 in my adult life. I just remember being in the 180’s since high school. My next goal is saving for a tummy tuck and probably my arms if I can build the courage. I also plan to stay on the med for maintenance. Might lower my dose to 10 or 12mg because I have a lot of suppression right now. And I really need to start buying a new wardrobe.

This group has been really beneficial with information and support. I also love seeing everyone else’s journeys. I’m glad I started when I did because I would probably be even heavier than I was. It’s still hard looking at these before photos. But it was photo at a concert that made me finally stop waiting and gettin started. Thanks, Maxwell. 🤭

Gimme texted me

And the pricing isn’t adding up. I’m sure the $89 is semaglutide but they didn’t correct the plan breakdown.

Quick Turnaround

I ordered on the 8th and received my 3 68mg vials today. I posted a couple of days ago, that Pom saw my text message (not my email yet) and still auto charged me after I asked them to update from 1 vials to 3 and that I needed to switch cards. I went back to look at my messages and I forgot to add that 2nd part about the cards. They emailed me the next day which was still less than a 24 hour response time. It was my fault for not realizing that there was a 3 vial deal and not just one. And also my second message wasn’t complete. I was wrong!

I was nervous about ordering at first. But I’m happy with the turnaround and no issues. This is my second order with them and everything was perfect. Even though there are still orders out there with issues, I have faith that they can get fully back into the good graces with the Tirz Compound community again.

Hilarious but of course they did

I think it’s real funny that Pom got my message about wanting the three vials instead of the one, after ordering. But I also stated that I needed to pay the invoice instead of the auto debit. I needed to switch cards. They still auto charged me for the 3 vials.

(IL) They’re selling house and I will be moving out earlier.

My landlord told me in March that they were selling the house. She mentioned a couple times about it being OK if I move early bc clearly the buyers wanted that. I let them know how soon it will take me to find something. I finally found a place yesterday, 2 days before the house transfers into the new buyer’s name. I paid rent on June 1st to my old landlord. They and the new buyer agreed to that. They told me my deposit went to the new buyer for when I move out at the end of July. I messaged my landlord today to ask if they would prorate my rent if I was to move out by June 15th. She said that she would check with the buyers lawyer to get the okay from the new owners. She just messaged me back saying that they will send over the new buyers info tomorrow. I know they will let me out of my lease early, but I paid the current landlord not the new people. The final walk-through is tomorrow. Advice? Thank you.
