The Pokémon machine has become such a hostile environment, so when I saw a bunch of older dudes standing around the machine today, I was 90% sure they were scalpers. Regardless, I head over to the machine to see if there is anything. To my surprise, these dudes were just waiting in line, taking turns picking stuff out of the machine and talking about Pokemon. There were four of us, and four packs left. The first guy took his turn, got one pack, and when the second guy went for his turn, the third dude asks me which set I’m after. “I’m actually after Destined Rivals but, looks like this guy’s buying the pack so that’s alright.” Is what I said. To my surprise, guy two turns around and says, “Oh this pack? I haven’t paid yet, you get it man.” And when I said “it’s all good,” he genuinely insisted. So, I got a pack of Destined today at the machine because a bunch of strangers were being really awesome. They all each got one pack, and were super stoked about it. I cannot describe how much that interaction made my day. Even though things suck sometimes with scalpers, I always get reminders like this that the Pokemon community is genuinely wonderful. If they see this- you guys are the best. Thank you for making me have a little more faith in humanity. I didn’t get anything crazy from the pack, but I don’t think I needed it after that interaction. Listen we already knew this dude was super weird. Can’t cover his poop. Instead of meowing he sort of.. bark-quacks? He wags his tail from the base of his tail like a dog when he is happy. He looks at you slack jaw with his eyes big when he’s confused. His favorite activity is opening his mouth and breathing in your ear in a way that can only be described as human. But I think the purring with his mouth open is definitely the icing on the cake. We think he has cat autism. Anyways, heres some footage of my weird cat. They named him Legs in the shelter cause his Legs are too long for his body. He cannot loaf correctly because of this. We made his full legal name Lego Batman. He is so stupid I love him.

I have been looking for brands that match my weird niche of alternative fashion and I stumbled upon breathedivinity, the gym brand, on my search. Now, I did end up buying some of their stuff on their most recent drop (will include photos), because I love what they have, but I want to find more brands like them, preferably smaller brands/smaller businesses. The best way I can describe what I’m looking for is somewhere between gothic and metalcore (??). I don’t usually go for grunge or punk, as flannel just isn’t my thing. Any advice is more than welcome. Thanks guys!
