Why is Questrade so slow? I mainly use Wealthsimple, and recently I opened a new account with Questrade. First, opening the account takes 1–2 business days, while Wealthsimple takes only minutes. Second, adding funds also takes business days, and Wealthsimple is instant. I recently moved money from my TFSA to my FHSA, and it’s been a day but it still hasn’t moved. Why does opening an account and transferring money take so long on Questrade compared to Wealthsimple? Just genuinely curious.
