Housing Question!
I just submitted my room request, but I’m a more than a little disappointed with how it went. I’m an incoming freshman, so I’ve never done this before and didn’t know what to expect outside of the videos I watched. I already have a roommate picked out, but when I went into the room selection (thirty minutes before my time to scope it out) there weren’t ANY double rooms available. I was so confused, considering 1. Those who wanted quads and triples had earlier times than those with doubles and 2. Doubles are the most common room type.
I ended up with a quad in Pickering hall…I wanted to know what the chances of me getting two random roommates is. I don’t know if this is common or whatever, but it’s bumming me out a lot, especially considering I was super excited prior to this block in the road. Let me know!
