G’day, so my son is looking at buying his first car. He’s looking at a four-wheel-drive and is deciding between a Ute or a wagon. His budget is 30 K . Must be an automatic. He wants to use it for camping and touring and as a daily. He’s avoiding Mitsubishi Pajero or Triton. Holdens and is looking to avoid a GEN2 D max or same year MUX because of the inner guard cracking issue He is wary. What would you guys recommend to get? And Ute or wagon?  he may carry people round. He’s not too sure yet but will be using for camping and probably be looking to put a roof top tent on cheers
