Snail mail constantly getting lost in mail? what do I do?

has anyone else had issues with USPS lately? About three months ago, I started a small art subscription called the Cozy Mail Club, where I send out decorated envelopes with my art, postcards, and little goodies.
Unfortunately, I've had a really unusual amount of mail disappear.

l've sent around 14 pieces of mail, and about 7 of them have never reached their destination even over a month after sending the mail. This has been really frustrating because I've had to refund customers for mail that never arrived, which means I'm losing both the product and the money... these are untracked and sent by stamp by mailbox

however upgraded to a tracked package is expensive especially since my mail is $11.99 a month, that would cost a extra about... $6 I would hate to massively bump the price up that high for the shipping! I doubt my current subscribers would be thrilled about that....

I'm wondering if anyone else has been experiencing similar issues with your local USPS service? Has your mail been getting lost, significantly delayed, or not delivered?

Someone also mentioned that because I decorate my envelopes/packages, they may stand out and potentially be more likely to be stolen. But I doubt anyone would risk loosing their job over some art lol

Tracking or mailing by stamp?

I recently started doing ACEO's and snail mails, but recently 3 of my buyers have reported either a extremely late package or no delivery weeks after being sent

With my snail mail, costs are high and i'm barely breaking even with 5 monthly members and having to ship out more than one package.... with ACEO it's not great loosing original artwork either

i've been shipping by stamp, but it's a bit frustrating as a artist loosing my work consistently... but getting tracking numbers is obviously more expensive... but at the rate of how many packages are lost.. may be worth it?

Aceo... Etsy or Ebay?

Just got into creating ACEO'S and recently got my first sale for $3 after 4 people bid on my first ACEO on Ebay! I made a post asking if you guys prefer the bids or buy now.... everyone collectively agrees that buy now is much preferred

However, I have a Etsy shop with 900 sales... way more established than my new Ebay account... but it seems ebay is more meant for ACEOS then etsy

Just got my first 99 cent bid! How much do yall start bids at?

Should I start listing it a bit higher? I see most people start at around $1 in hopes that it gets somewhat higher, should I start low just to sort of grow my Ebay? Then increase to a more reasonable price for my time?
