Apologies if I haven't done a great job looking this up myself.

The items fall into two categories-

Category 1: Functional stuff like old smartwatches that still work, but are rarely used now.

Category 2: Smartphones with dead batteries, etc.

I'd want to donate them or recycle them without having to pay a recycling fee, if at all possible.

Advice will be appreciated :)

This is usually not an issue with me, but given my somewhat esoteric interests, my job, and me not being super super into the outdoors, I'm finding it very hard to make meaningful friendships here. I made two excellent friends who promptly left for NYC and TX lol.

Any suggestions?
