The marketing for Season Zero places the Night Market front-and-center, clearly advertising it as the big gameplay addition of S0. In addition, rewards from the coffers acquired from sidequests are chiefly overland zone sets. These two aspects would seem to indicate that Night Market is intended for a wide audience, including the more casual side that doesn't usually run group content.

Then, you step into the Market proper. Enemies have health and damage numbers around 6-8 times the amount from overland, on par with enemies from veteran dungeons or even trials, and forget even trying to fight a boss if you don't have even a semi-organized group. So, Night Market is for endgame players then? So why are the rewards the same overland zone gear that endgame players already found and sold a hundred times over?

This disconnect, I fear, will be a massive blemish on Night Market's reputation, unless we get some clarification from ZOS. Is it intended to be widely accessible, as other events are? If so, why are the mobs as powerful as they are? Is it intended to be run by people who eat vet trials for breakfast? If so, why are the rewards so bad, compared to the likes of vet trials?

They created an already good incentive to group up with these dedicated instances. Instead, we have bosses that make the likes of Vro-Kuul-Sha and Stri the Fate-Eater look almost reasonable and packs of "trash" mobs that shred anyone and everyone within seconds, to the point people just don't engage at all. I really hope the balancing in the base zone gets looked at, or otherwise this neat idea becomes a ghost town.
