How do i ship cats without directly mating them?
You'll want a mediator (i prefer to choose a cat with a speaking or mediating skill) and mediate them with "allow romantic" enabled, the pink bar at the bottom is an indicator for how much romance they have. You should also send them on patrols alone with each other.
My [role] is getting older without taking an apprentice, what should i do?
If your clan has kits that aren't apprenticed yet try to find one with a skill matching the role of the older cat, if that kit doesn't get apprenticed to said cat you'll have to manually apprentice the kit to them. (i.e. an herb skill for med cats)
[cat] killed someone but i dont want to write down [cat]'s name, is there another way to mark [cat]?
If you aren't using the favorites system for something else then i always use it to mark down cats to send to the dark forest.
None of my cats are having kits and there are no outsiders coming. OR [clan] is slowly heading towards becoming inbred and i don't want that!
I will very often set the warriors den to being welcoming of outsiders and go on as many border patrols as i can. If it's a REALLY desperate time you can also code cats into existing! You should find at least 1 tutorial on youtube or something.

So Nuzzlelotus sent an omen to Shadowstar (i forgot to screenshot the omen, but Shadowstar was wondering if a shed whisker, a shining beetle shell, and a tuft of fox fur was an omen) so like yeah... ive got storytelling to do
I never start a clan without turning off spirit fading bc i hate to lose my dead cats, its just my little thing i do and i wonder if anyone else does it
