How do I make sure the salesperson who helped me gets their commission?
I went to MicroCenter for the first time recently. I'm shopping for a new laptop to replace my old one that has finally pretty much given up. The salesperson who talked to me was very kind and was a huge help in narrowing down the options.
By the time I left I was pretty sure which one I wanted to go with, but I didn't pull the trigger for two reasons: A) I wanted to do some more research before dropping 1,700+ on a new computer, and B) I needed to wait for my credit limit to reset for the month before going through with a big purchase like that.
At the time, I didn't realize that they are paid commissions. I want to go back in soon but I want to make sure it's the same guy that helped me originally who gets the commission. Do I just have to hope that he's working when I go in? Or can I tell the cashier or whoever the name of the salesperson so that he gets the commission even if he's not working when I actually buy the computer?
