Can Some one tell me what is the management Fees for Mechanical Engineering In including donation and Yearly fees, If This year is not available then please tell me the last year's Fee structure , I had called them but they said We would have to Visit them Personally and They won't say the fees on the phone ,Would be helpful if any seniors helps me out.....

So Many of u have submitted ur documents for Verification, don't worry mostly in the last 2 days of the Verification deadline all the documents will be verified and Of the Documents are rejected you will be given 13 hours to submit the correct one, so keep checking the Website atlest one time out of the whole day, almost 95% documents are accepted...

Consuling Process as of 5/06/2026

Comedk Has 4 rounds of Consuling,

Round 1,3,4 are for general Candidates and Round 2 is only for KKR reserved candidates only they can participate, and you can change your college list before every round of Consuling

Main Points to Take away,

1. This year comedk has increased its fees last year the upper limit college was have per year fees of 3.1lakhs, this year it has increased to 3.21 lakhs including university and lab fees of college (about 20k increased) this fees is excluding Hostel fees and other hidden charges of some private colleges, but a college will charge u atlest 3.21 lakhs that's quoted by the Comedk, And soon will be having the seat matrix also...

2. There are 4 option in Comedk when u are alloted a seat in Comedk

A. Accept and Freeze : You will Accept the Seat which u got and Go to Addmison as per prescribed date., You cannot Participate in next round

B. Accept and Upgrade:You are happy with the seat u got and u want to hold the seat but also want to try for another better college, then The seat which you got will be booked for u and In the next round u can participate for better college and branch

C. Reject and Upgrade : u are not happy with seat and Don't want the seat and want to participate in the next round of Consuling for a better seat, You Will Be allowed to participate in next round

D: reject and Exit : You don't wish to participate any more in Comedk and want to exit from the comedk Consuling preocesss..

Now if u chose option A,B, C you would have to pay 3.21 lakhs when you will be choosing the option, this is your first year fees of college

3.if you participate in round 3 also and you had choosen a option of A, B Or C and Then in round 3, Again In round 3 you will be given options A, B, C And D

4. If you like the college alloted you are not required to pay again as you have paid your fees earlier, if you choose to Accept And Upgrade no need to pay fees again and If you choose to exit then your fees 3.21 lakhs will be returned In few days no money lost,

And if you are not alloted colleges in previous rounds you will still need to go in decision-making and choose weather you want to continue or withdraw from the Consuling process

5. THE risk Round 4

round 4 is risky because if u choose accept and Upgrade in round 3 then you won't have the option to reject the seat in round 4 and you will have to join the College alloted by comedk as per your Option list , else you will have to pay fine of xyz Ammount and your Fees of 3.21 lakhs will be gone (no refund) so be careful in round 3 decision making, you will loose money also and not get the choice of your college

Only students who had not been alloted college seat in Previous rounds Will be allowed to Reject the seat and if they reject it they will need not to pay fine or anything as such...

6. YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR COLLEGE LIST /OPTION ENTRY MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE THE START OF ANY ROUND WITHIN THE DEADLINE PRESCRIBED

7. DONT JUST BLINDLY SIT FOR ROUND 4 BY SEEING THE CUTOFFS, BECAUSE IT GANGES EVERY YEAR AND THEY ARE VERY VOLATILE NO ONE CAN GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL GET A SEAT, MAYBE THEY MIGHT GET FULL OR MAYBE THE CUTOFF MAY GO VERY LOW, PR IT MIGHT GO VERY HIGH (MAJORITY OF TIMES), SO IF YOU HAVE COMEDK AS LAST OPTION DON'T GO FOR ROUND 4 WITHOUT BACKUP COLLEGE OR ATLEST DON'T GO BLINDLY WOYB FULL HOPES OF GETTING GOOD COLLEGE

My personal advice is

If you have got rank below 25 k you will get some what decent college of Good ROI except for that in bot sure and would prefer north people to go to Bangalore only, That's all

And please be careful in Option entry (Choice Filling) as it will decide the college you will get and understand the Choices you will make in decision making especially for round 3, as it will effect in round 4

Hey everyone, Soo the results are out and The Results felt Inflated to me NGL, now I see everyone asking weather and which college they will get, They can just visit the official website there u have access to Previous year cutoff under History section, So coming to the point Many are asking Which are The Best college and Which branch to secure and weather to sacrifice branch for college and all etc, here are some personal recommendations I would give if u like it please let me know

1. If you are from the north India, try to choose college which is in Banglore because majority colleges outside Banglore Have very less diversity, Mysore and Tumkur can Also be considered, But Leaving these three cities I don't think their are good colleges and Diversity

2. Should you sacrifice your Branch for good college? The answer is if your College is in the top 7 then you can think of it, but don't go blindly, Do Ur research and Have an idea of the syllabus

3.Keep in mind Once you choose an option when a college is allotted, till round 3 you have the option to cancel the seat and get refund, but once you Enter round 4 no matter you like the college or you kept in the option entry list by mistake or what so ever, if alloted you have to join it and if u fail to Join you would have to pay about 7-8 lakhs as fine+ college fees, so be careful and think twice before entering it. I'm not trying to scare but keep it in mind if u are appearing for other exams.. (im not sure about these years options, but last year there were 4 options)

4. The best ROI can only be expected from top 8 college that too majority In CSE branch

5. Keep ur expectations low of your rank is Above 20k and you think you will get a good College and college life and Good placements...

6. If you are considering about drop then think about it if you got a bad rank but don't get into a college without doing full research

7. Don't trust the you tubers and their college ranking seen in YouTube, top 8 colleges can have true data, after that the data could be manipulated and not genuine, So better to ask about placements to Senior of that college

8.If you rank Exceds 50k then i would highly recommend Bangalore colleges Bcz you can't expect Good Placemats maybe decent, atlest you will have some what College life because of the city

9. You will see many seniors rant about their colleges like they are shit, yes majority of them are Shit Not gonna lie, but you can consider top 8 to be good not matter how much they Rant about it,

10. Keep your expectations low from day one itself, don't get demotivated by seeing the college or something else and start thinking that why am I paying 3 lakhs here it's shit, no ROI and Etc. Trust me you Will be in the that loop for ever, so better before joining the college do full research and be practical,and think what you should do.... The situation should be like someone has forced you into the college you don't want to go..

Hello everyone, Just wanted to share some thing before the Results are announced, I am sharing this because I have suffered and I dont want you guys to suffer as I did A bit about me last year I had given Comedk and Got a Rank of about 40k, Took EandC in Tier 3 not soo good College

So the Thing I wanted to advice is that Please don't settle for A College which u get at a low rank like me, I went to the college with few expectations and that also were not meet, Giving 3 lakhs a year + hostel and being not being satisfied Too much To take, As my college was bad and my parents had forced me Not to take a drop and Go for the college which I got was a bad decision, At Last I had no option after seeing the Toxic Environment I was in and the faculty and The fees which was going to be invested in the 4 years The College I decide to leave and I left, Yes 3 lakh and 90 thousand Hostel fees gone down the drain and The Pressure I got and all things I had to go through to fight against my parents God Helped that's all I can say, You guys would Say why I took a drop From college it's not a big thing ( well it is atlest you should have people who know what is Git hub and Should be some Supportive and Good on top of that It should justify the 3 lakh price tag), So Do good research About the College and Get into the Branch that you want, and yeah Be aware that if you are alloted a college in round 4 and you dont join you will have to pay all the fees (3.2 lakha plus the fine).

With all being said All the Best, Yes Not all comedk College are bad some are, I would prefer the Top 7 or 8 to be worthy of Addmission, if you wanna join other colleges it's upto you and Your Rank
