Company lead by marketing team, it is a good sign, marketing make orders and decide the company where to go. boss know how to keep quiet. sometimes doing nothing is the best for letting the company to grow. people need space to operate, no micromanage, less toxic. and marketing team hook project and generate income. they should decide the direction
Warning
Company lead by production team. it is risk due to u don't know what is the demand from market, u only focus on supply, it could end up u produce a lot but end up no one buy it. production team can save money for u in sometime, by optimization, it helps! yes! but they shouldn't lead the team. saving money doesn't mean u earning is good
Downhill
When HR leading the team, normally it is the boss pulling the string from behind, where the disaster started. no marketing, no production, everything is dictatorship. boss run company through HR, just to avoid taking responsible and taking blame. and starting to ask u to overtime working, and micromanagement. it also form a lot of politic, boss like to be unspecific on task. so if the outcome is success, he can claim, but if failed, he can blame. very cunning.
Resign
Boss decided to manage company himself, no certificate in marketing, production and HR, but he is rich and he think he is the only one can save the company, he run everything and micromanagement. if failed, he will lie or blame it on team. there is a lot people in this category in Malaysia. mostly the boss also inherit the wealthy from his parent or by luck. he has 0 experience but take 0 advise. u have to go, because in this scenario there is no growth, but only drama in a petty kingdom show.
