Please help- potential harassment

My landlord has suddenly started aggressively demanding that I pay a specific utility/bill, despite my signed tenancy agreement explicitly stating that the landlord is responsible for this payment.
I checked with the official government service and have written confirmation that the actual bill is significantly lower than the inflated amount she is demanding from me.
When I pointed out the contract clause, she escalated. Asked for arrears that I’m not liable for. threatened a rapid retaliatory eviction, and is weaponizing a property inspection to force an in-person meeting.
To make it worse, she contacted my ex (who doesn't live here) and texted him my private financial information, including the exact amount of housing benefits I receive,
I am an incredibly anxious, shy person and the constant text messages are causing me severe panic attacks. I know legally she doesn't have a leg to stand on, but the psychological intimidation is wearing me down. Has anyone dealt with a landlord like this? How do I stop being so terrified of the texts and what can I even do about this?? I Thanks in advance.

What happens when rent increase is so unaffordable?

Single mum of 2 in private rental. Work 2 jobs. Rent is increasing by £300. I’m just wondering what are the options for when it’s genuinely unaffordable? There’s no other private rentals available. Has anyone else been in this situation and give me some advice on what they did? N.I

No one is helping with landlord harassment

Landlord is harassing me and trying to make me pay unlawful fees. Who do I even go to. I feel like no one is taking me serious. They confirm “yes this is wrong and this is harassment and a criminal offence” but then they just send me on my way and I’m left to deal with it alone. Any help would be appreciated highly I’m exhausted

Genuinely frightened of landlord at this point

So we’ve had issues for a good while now. My landlord can become very rude and personal when I disagree or ask for things which I rarely ever ever do.

I got crazy rent increase but it was only a few days notice so I got advice and was told I don’t have to pay it due to wrong notice

I tell landlord this and I get a crazy reaction back. As expected. But she immediately threatens eviction. Says she can replace me within 2 months. Accuses me of things. And then said she will be here next week for a well overdue inspection and a chat.

That’s immediately made me feel so threatened and I already have severe anxiety and her constant texts are genuinely ruining my physical and mental health I can’t eat or sleep properly.

The inspection is 100% said to intimidate me and frighten me and it’s worked. I don’t know if she will come or not but I’m probably getting evicted

Has anyone experienced similar or have any stories so I don’t feel so alone and scared

Landlords are cruel and evil

I don’t even know what to say. I’m just angry and upset and need to talk to people about it.

Got a rent increase, insane amount. Whatever, I said it’s not the correct notice. I get a threatening message back from landlord saying they can replace me within a month and there’s a line of people for this house. Talks about the homeless issue and says I’m easily replaced.

Rich people taking advantage of poor people and knowing they can throw someone out and have someone else pay the unaffordable rent just because they don’t have a choice

Landlord threatening eviction. UK

I got an invalid rent increase with less than a month. The time needed is 3 months. I confirmed this with professionals.
I told landlord it wasn’t sufficient notice so I’ve been advised to pay original rent.
She immediately became angry and personal toward me. Saying she can have someone new in here within 2 months. And said she’s coming for an inspection and can issue me an eviction notice if that’s what I want.

I’m not saying I wasn’t going to pay the increase. I was. But it’s in my rights to have 3 months notice?
What do I even do I’m sick with stress

Scared to confront landlord

Okay so in may I got a text from landlord increasing the rent by £300 from June.
Two weeks later I get the rent increase letter and the landlord is saying I owe £300 from may because that’s when I got the notice. This doesn’t even make sense, I get the notice in may and she wants me to pay the increase the same month?

I find out that I’m entitled to three months written notice and I even have went to a solicitor to confirm I don’t have to pay the £300 arrears I’m claimed to be in.

Solicitor told me I’m not to pay the increase as her notice was unlawful and invalid. I’m due to pay rent tomorrow but I’m so scared of texting her to say I got legal advice and that she’s in the wrong and I’m not paying it.

Ugh I feel pathetic being so scared but there’s always been a power imbalance with her I hate talking to her
