Genuine question for members of this sub

What is the huge discourse with using AI to create posters, articles, magazines, etc., for MyNBA saves?

I've read through a few of the replies and honestly.. they are mostly nonsense lol.

  1. "AI is bad for the environment bro"

Walmart, Amazon, Tesla & pretty much every major company uses more AI then anyone in this sub ever could. Do you email their corporate office? Protest? Still shop at these locations & use their products? I mean we are talking about a basketball simulation video game..

  1. "Learn graphic design"

People go to College for graphic design. It is not a skill you simply pick up fucking around on Photoshop for 2 hours. Most of us (I would assume) work a full-time job, have kids & other hobbies outside of playing 2K that eat up majority of our time.

Curious to see what other members of this sub & longtime 2K players think. Personally, my favorite 2K is 2K13. I always enjoyed the billboards, magazine covers, highlights your player would accumulate during a MyCareer save. AI is a way to create these personalized moments within a franchise save file that is tailored to YOUR personal experience. 2K could easily implement a feature or build on existing features like the newspaper/social media aspect of MyNBA to make this possible.

Side note: 2K uses AI to create generated draft classes, implement ProPlay, conduct simulations on top of other things. If you were really against AI you wouldn't be playing video games at all since every game uses AI in one way or another to create an experience for the user.

We'll see how many valid points this actually accumulates to lol.

The Utah Jazz dismantle a dynasty but are still plagued by their NBA Finals drought

The best season I have played on 2K. Ever. Turning the tables on Golden State & the Rockets was a sweet moment for a life long Jazz fan! Ironically, Hayward STILL broke his leg - just in a franchise defining series unfortunately lol.

Curry ended up signing with the Brooklyn Nets in the off-season. Golden State sold off everyone they could to begin a full rebuild. In this timeline the Utah Jazz effectively killed off arguably the greatest team we've ever seen while becoming one of the biggest "what ifs?" in NBA history.
