Does anyone else miss balls old shield sharing perk?

I know adaptive barrier from an objective standpoint is just better, but the old shield sharing major perk felt so good to use.

I liked that I was giving my team a bunch of extra overhealth because it made me feel like a way better team player, especially in 5v5, and i also really appreciated that behavior being awarded with cooldown reduction on my next adaptive shields.

Something about it just really clicked for me and i miss it.

Do you think there is any grounds for the new trailer leading into a Hammond redemption arc?

Since he's currently captured behind enemy lines, and the moment they find out it's a hyper intelligent space hamster they are definitely going to call in Winston, do you think that this might lead into a reconciliation of some type? Hammond is obviously a devious little shit so i can't imagine he's gonna fully flip, but i could see him at the very least agreeing to help and that potentially leading to more character development down the road.

Best way to make my old soldier build work again?

My favorite soldier build used to be: on me > track and field > back off > frontliners, because i really liked playing him as a sort of support angle, and the permanently active field was really fun. I especially liked the build since i mostly play quickplay, so i was always able to get the 3 big items before the game ended.

However the changes to track and field have made it very difficult for me to figure out how to operate in a similar manner.

I've tried a few things such as some shenanigans with run and gun combined with the new version of battery pack, but in order to get to that i have to go all the way to the last round, and it doesn't even work if i'm not hitting every single helix rocket as soon as i get it.

I've also tried using biotic bullseye in conduction with run and gun to increase the duration more, but thats very reliant on me hitting headshots consistently, and I'd have to give up on the field itself doing damage to have enough power slots.

Is the playstyle just fully cooked or is there some interaction i'm not seeing that could salvage this?
