8/18/26 European Summer Week Crumbl Review + Cross-Sections (brulee, cannoli, gelato, tiramisu, stroopwafel, bubs, pink)

Y’all I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks and it did not disappoint!

Well… for the most part… 😬

Here’s my ratings from most to least favorite.

🔥 Crème Brûlée Cookie 5/5

Great caramelized taste. The crispy shell cracks just like the real thing.

The frosting is sweet, vanilla forward and custardy. I get the pudding comparison others are making but the flavor is more rich.

The base is solid with a heavy brown sugar coating. It’s almost like a snickerdoodle. Definitely on the sweeter side.

Love this and would absolutely get it again.

🍫 Cannoli Cookie 5/5

They did it. Crumbl perfected the cannoli cookie.

The mascarpone filling is rich and thick. The mini chocolate chips look great and add a wonderful bite of bitterness.

And now the waffle cone coated cookie thins add the right texture to the base. They’re firm enough to support the filling with a great crunch and just enough chewiness.

The original cannoli cookie had more of a shortbread base that was super soft. It tasted like cannoli but felt like an oatmeal cream pie.

Love this would absolutely get it again.

🍦Vanilla Chocolate Gelato Cookie 5/5

I had high hopes for this one. I loved the vanilla chocolate waffle cone cookie from earlier this year. And this is pretty much the same.

The waffle coke pieces are the best part. The ones on top are extra crunchy almost like they’re deep fried or something.

The filling is creamy and delicious and the chocolate pairs really well. I wish it was a little firmer to get more of the ice cream vibes, but that’s probably on me for taking an hour to try it. I bet it’s firmer from the fridge.

The base didn’t have enough waffle cones in it. At least not the couple bites I tried. If there were more cones and the filling was colder this would be perfect.

Overall this is a great cookie I’d get again.

🩷 Pink Sugar Cookie 5/5

Gotta love the classics.

Crumbly. Almondy. Delicious. Cute.

🧇 Stroopwafel Sandwich Cookie 5/5

Just like a real stroopwaffel!

Mine was sturdy with a nice crispness. I’ve seen some reviews where they were floppy, so this may depend on your store.

Of course it would’ve been great to use actual waffles or waffle cones. I mean they’re right there in 2 other cookies, but not the waffle cookie? 🤨

The caramel is sweet and chewy with a good pull.

Absolutely love this and would get it again.

🍰 Chocolate Tiramisu Cake - 4/5

This was a gamble I took to fill out my mini box. And I’m glad I did.

I’m not a fan of lady fingers, so I was curious how cake would compare.

And I don’t drink much coffee anymore because of my heart. So I was curious how a coffee-free chocolate version would work.

I’m pleasantly surprised. The bitterness of the chocolate does a nice job of mimicking the bitterness of the missing coffee.

The cake and whip cream are fluffy and light. Overall it’s very refreshing and easy to eat. Great choice for the summer.

I like this one. It’s different. I might get it again.

🍓 Swedish Candy Cookie ft Bubs 3/5

This is… odd. And the flavor sticks out like a sore thumb compared to all the others.

I love Crumbl’s strawberry cookies. I love sweet and sour. This should’ve been right up my alley.

The topping is very airy, like a whipped cream. There’s a slight strawberry flavor but it’s not as strong as usual.

Some bites kind of taste like a strawberry shortcake. Others just taste sweet and fluffy. Maybe that’s the vanilla but it’s really mild.

I tried to find the sour coating in the base but it’s not in the room with us. Instead, all the sour is in the candy.

This was my first time trying Bubs. It’s more sour than I expected, and also pretty tough to chew.

Oddly the best taste balance is taking a bite of the too bland cookie with a bite of the too sour candy. But biting the tough candy + fluffy icing makes for a squishy mess.

I might chop up the candy and sprinkle it around to make eating this easier.

Overall this was a swing and a miss. It’s not terrible, but I wouldn’t get it again.

Have you tried these flavors?

Do you want to?

Rating Scale

5 = so great it’s hard to stop eating. I keep saying “omg” with every bite. I refuse to miss out on this when it returns so yes Crumbl, please annoy me with alerts.

4 = good and I like it. Will finish it but probably as leftovers the next day. Might get it again to fill out a box but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

3 = just ok. Some positives and some negatives. Will consider throwing it out, but eventually eat it after all the other cookies are gone. Wouldn’t buy it again but if it was free and I was hungry…

2 = bad. Something is seriously off. Will try a couple of bites and experiments to save it. But then throw the rest away.

1 = awful. Like a hit circle of garbage. There is no saving this. Straight in the trash.

Sneak peek at the August 17 spoilers 👀

Here’s what the spoilers for the week of August 17 may look like.

This is based off existing Crumbl cookies, the descriptions below from a spoiler post today, and the theme of “Italy Week” or “European Week”

1. Crème Brûlée Cookie

Pictured are test cookies from a few months ago.

People described it as a graham cracker base with a creamy frosting, but no crispy texture (bummer)

2. Cannoli Cookie (I believe this will be different from the sandwich version we’ve had before)

Pictured is the last version of Cannoli Cookie that Crumbl did. Also a possible new version as a skillet cookie (could be fun and maybe crispier)

The last version tasted like cannoli but the soft cookie texture was different.

3. Strawberry Vanilla Bubs-inspired Cookie

Turns out this is a Swedish candy that’s sour and strawberry vanilla flavored. Who knew?

Pictures are my best guesses based on Googling. I could see this as a strawberry cookie rolled in sour crystals and filled with white chips. Or a vanilla cookie rolled in sour crystals with strawberry vanilla frosting.

4. A yellow cake with a chocolate ganache, chocolate whipped cream, mascarpone whipped cream, dusted in cocoa (I feel like it’s supposed to be a Mormon friendly version of tiramisu 😉)

Pictured are chocolate tiramisus based on the description.

I wonder if it’ll be presented like a square tres leches cake in a tin? Or maybe like a trifle cup.

5. Stracciatella Gelato Cookie

So stracciatella gelato is sort of like an Italian chocolate chip ice cream. But the real version has smaller chocolate shavings.

Pictured is my best guess based on Googling. I could see this looking a lot like the cookies and cream milkshake cookie (amazing).

I could also see it having one of those muddy bites cone candies on top like the picture. That candy was in an old Crumbl cookie that hasn’t been around in a while.

6. Caramel Thin Sandwich

I bet these will be the usual thin cookies sandwiching some caramel.

But pizzelle style cookies would be more fitting for Italian week. And with caramel in the middle it would almost be like a stroopwaffel (yum).

Pictures based on Googling.

7. Chocolate Chip

8. Pink Sugar

7/22/26 Crumbl Review + Cross Sections (Biscoff thins, pink sugar thins, strawberry thins, cake batter thins)

I’ve only had 2 thin cookies before. I had the snickerdoodle thins last month (amazing) and the almost everything bagel thin sandwich (also amazing).

So I’ve been waiting for some more thins to come around. Especially the cake batter thins. Or something without chocolate.

This was the week.

🍰 Cake Batter Cookie Thins 5/5

I love all the frosted cake batter cookies. I think I’ve had the unfrosted one with the white chips and it was good but not great. So I wasn’t sure if the buttery, chewiness of the thins would make up for the lack of frosting.

OMG 😳 These are heavenly.

Very strong cake batter flavor. Perfect chewy texture with crispy edges. Slightly floppy to handle for long but they’re going straight in my mouth anyway.

The sprinkles are adorbs and add a nice crunch.

Absolutely love these and not missing the frosting. One of my new favorites 😍

🫚 Cookie Butter Thins 4.5/5

I’m not the biggest Biscoff fan, but when it’s done right like the Biscoff Pie it’s top notch.

My store really nailed the Biscoff crumbles and they went everywhere in the box. At least it’s not like that tajin sauce getting everywhere… 😬

I’m glad I got more toppings than others because the crumbles are where most of the flavor comes from. They base itself has a more mild Biscoff flavor, but the cookie crumble really give you that warm, spicy after taste.

Overall I really like this cookie. I think it’s the best Biscoff cookie I’ve had yet. But it’s no Biscoff pie, cheesecake or brownie.

🍓 Strawberry Thins 4.5/5

I got worried when I saw these because there’s no dried strawberry pieces on top. And I’ve heard the flavor can be pretty mild. I really love Crumbl’s strawberry jam and desserts so I was hoping for more strawberries.

At least the powdered sugar is there which I haven’t seen on everyone’s.

The texture is pretty much the same as the others. Solid enough to pick up. A little bendy. Crispy edges and chewy middle. You either love it or you hate it I guess. I love it.

The taste is more strawberries than I expected. It looks like the dried pieces are mixed in the dough. It would be great to have a few in top as well just for the looks. Even if they fell off and scattered around the box.

Maybe I’ll find some under the other cookies… 🤔

Overall I really like these and will enjoy eating them all. But it’s not the best strawberry cookie. That still goes to strawberry cheesecake, strawberry crumb cake or strawberry pop tart cookies.

🩷 Pink Sugar Cookie Thins 4/5

I love the original pink sugar cookie so I had to give this a go. I was curious how a thin, chewy classic sugar cookie base would compare to the original, crumbly, dissolve-in-your-mouth almond base from the original.

Mine base was solid with a nice chew to it. It wasn’t floppy like some of the others I’ve seen this weeks. It held its shape well when I picked it up.

The taste is your basic chewy sugar cookie. It’s good but nothing special.

The frosting is delicious as always. And the ratio of frosting to cookie is good.

Overall I like it. I’ll definitely eat it all. But the original almond base is more special and better in my opinion.

Have you tried these cookies?

What did you think?

Are you planning to get these this week?

u/The-Local-Yokel — 28 days ago

Possible spoilers for next week 👀

Someone posted ingredient spoilers a few days ago. Based on those here are the suspected cookies for next week

The nerds and flamin hot Cheetos were especially interesting

Also rumors that purple food coloring may point to the Ube cookie, even though that should be naturally purple.

Would you try these?

What do you think the theme is? Snack week maybe?

Do you think we’ll get different cookies?

u/The-Local-Yokel — 29 days ago

Next weeks lineup

Based on some comments here, it sounds like next weeks lineup might be:

- Caramel Apple Cookie
- Cotton Candy Cookie (back from the graveyard)
- Strawberry Lemonade Cookie (maybe a new version of Raspberry Lemonade Cookie)
+ Dubai Strawberry Cup
+ Fried Ice Cream
+ Cinnamon Fry Bread

PS Cornbread coming the following week!

(Thanks to all the sleuths that helped put these spoilers together 🙏)

Are you excited for these flavors?

Have you had them before?

What do you think the other 3 2 cookies will be?

u/The-Local-Yokel — 2 months ago

Let’s bet - will the chips be crunchy or stale?

They call these “crunchy peanut butter coated potato chips”

But it seems like most crunchy toppings end up being kind of stale (cereal, popcorn).

So, do you think it’ll be crispy?

Or stale?

Or something else?

6/8/26 Crumbl Review + Cross Sections (mango tajin, nanaimo, dot cake, snickerdoodle thins)

I jumped on this week’s cookies as soon as possible. As somebody who loves unique and new flavors, I wasn’t about to pass on these.

🧡Tangy Mango Cookie feat Tajin 5/5

OMG this is everything I hoped for and more.

The tajin is tangy, salty and a little smoky. It gives that slight tingle in the aftertaste.

The frosting is light and tropical, kind of like a dole whip but with mango.

The base is solid and holds together well under all the moist toppings. The dusting of tajin on the outside gives a nice gritty texture, and the base has more tropical mango flavor to balance it all out.

The only downside with this cookie is the sauce getting everywhere. I ended up with some under my dot cake. It was easy enough to scrape off but some of that flavor lingered.

If you love complex, unique fruity flavors this is for you!

This is one of my new favorites and I’d absolutely get it again. It’s so hard to put down I ate half without stopping.

🤎 Snickerdoodle Thins 5/5

Wow these are great! Chewy and a little crispy on the edges with a great caramelized flavor.

I’ve had the original snickerdoodle and while it’s alright, it does not compare to this.

I’ve been holding off on trying thins because I’m not big on chocolate and it seems like they’re always doing chocolate thins.

Would absolutely get these and other thins again.

🌈 Dot Cake Cookie 4/5

I’m a fan of frosted sugar cookies and sprinkles so why not. Also it’s Pride and I wanted something rainbow colored to celebrate.

The base is shockingly soft. Not just cakey soft, but doughier than usual soft. I can’t honestly tell where frosting ends and cake cookie begins. It would be nice to have a bit more contrast between the textures.

I thought the sprinkles would be crunchier, but mine were rather soft. There’s a slight crispy but not too much at all.

Overall it’s cute with a good vanilla taste, but less than ideal textures. I’d eat it if it was there but wouldn’t rush out to get it again.

🍫 Nanaimo Bar Cookie 3/5

I voted for this one so I was curious to try it. I’m not big on chocolate forward desserts but the combo of vanilla custard, coconut, graham crackers and ganache hooked me.

The base is the softest of all my cookies this week. It was hard to pick up without falling apart. It’s chocolatey and a bit fudgy like a brownie, without being too bitter like some of Crumbl’s chocolate cookies. The coconut adds a nice chewiness and flavor. I can’t really taste the graham crackers.

The ganache topping is rich and tasty as always. I can’t taste much of the vanilla custard at all, which is disappointing.

Overall this was ok but I wouldn’t get it again. If you like fudgy soft chocolate with a hint of coconut this is for you.

Have you had these flavors?

Do you want to?

Testing break + review reset = what could go wrong?

These handful of early reviews will probably be buried by tomorrow, but what a rocky start for the new fruit loops tres leches dessert (current rating 3.8).

And even for some of my favorites like strawberry pop tart, this isn’t making Crumbl look good.

What a weird decision to pause testing and reset reviews at the same time.

5/26/26 Crumbl Review + Cross Sections (biscoff and strawberry cheesecake, c&c krispy, lemon poppy, oatmeal raisin, pink sugar)

I don’t know about you but I’m worried about the future of Crumbl.

It sounds silly but Crumbl has been one of my favorite little treats to get through a bad week.

But now with the “small adjustments” (cough shrinkflation cough) and the new recipes and the new CEO and all the other things, I don’t know how long they’ll be around. Or at least how long the quality will last.

So this week when 5 flavors I’d been looking forward to trying came out, I decided to get it while it’s still worth getting.

🩷Pink Sugar Cookie 5/5

My love. With celebration cake cookie off the classic menu I wanted to get this while I still can.

I love how crumbly the base is because it just melts in your mouth. And the almond in the icing tastes so floral and lovely.

🤎Biscoff Cheesecake 5/5

I love Crumbl’s cheesecakes so the filling is great as always.

The Biscoff base is a little dry, but it adds a nice warm spicy flavor along with the Biscoff topping.

It’s great but I still prefer other flavors like PB of Dubai.

️Strawberry Cheesecake Cookie 5/5

Crumbl’s strawberry jam can’t be beat. It’s always amazing.

It pairs great with the cheesecake cookie base and frosting. I still think the salted caramel cheesecake cookie is my favorite l, but this is a close second.

🥣Oatmeal Raisin Cookie 4.5/5

Wow this is great! I’ve had two other oatmeal cookies from Crumbl and I always wished they had raisins in them.

It’s simple but the spices and raisins are just right. Would get again.

🍋Lemon Poppy Seed Cookie 4/5

As a lemon lover I was hoping for more flavor. The almond glaze is tasty and adds a nice texture.

There’s a lemony, moist something in the middle but I can hardly see any of the curd.

Maybe it’s different in the large cookies.

UPDATE: the lemon curd was mostly on the other side. I like it and it’s more tart so that’s nice. Not sure I’d change the rating though.

🍚 Cookies and Cream Rice Krispy Bar 4/5

I read a lot of reviews saying it was soggy. I’m pretty happy with the texture of mine, but a few spots did taste slightly stale.

The white chocolate and Oreo add a little something without overpowering the rest.

Oh and no upcharge for the mini!

Overall good but I wouldn’t rush out to get it again.
