A Short Story of Friendship

Here’s a lovely encounter I had the other day, in hopes that it would inspire others…

To begin, I joined in on my main server with my friend, we’ll call Clover. We were heading inland, tired and in need of food. Our plan was to meet at the radio station and plan out our journey from there. Once we arrived, we were greeted by two others, Joe and Arco. Joe was a British man, and seemed very nice. Arco was from Spain and seemed a bit.. off, but friendly enough to invite them on our journey. We began our trek through the desert, in need of food and water. Out in the distance we saw a farm with a water tower, so we began to head in that direction. Now Arco had this way about him, saying things that made no sense but added humor to the situation. Unbeknownst to me and my friend, he was already on two strikes with Joe.. apparently he had used the N word twice. Anyway, we arrive at the tower, grab some water and recouped. Suddenly Joe started swinging on Arco! In our shock we asked what happened, and Joe replied, “He said it again! (N word) I told him to stop but this is the third time”. Arco was begging to be spared, but Joe was relentless in his swings. Joe then stopped, with Arco barely holding on by a thread, and asked what we should do. We decided on righteous judgment, and axed him to death. In our shock and very hungry mindsets, we decided to cut Arco up and eat him. He provided us with the energy and nutrients we needed to venture on, and he will always be remembered for his contribution 🙏🏻 The End

Progress Post: 1 month in

6ft, 27m
June 28th- 158lbs
July 22- 166lb

Diet- Clean proteins, whey, fruit smoothies. Breakfast within one hour of waking up and meals every two to three hours. (Using myfitnesspal to track)

Lift Routine- Monday (push), Tuesday (pull), Thursday (legs), Friday (push and pull). Compound workouts with progressive overload. Adding weight each week.

It has been nearly one month, and absolutely loving it. The only supplement I use right now is whey protein. I’ll be adding creatine to that mix here soon. I’ve never consistently worked out like this in my life, though I have been fortunate enough to build a decent frame through surfing for the past 8 years. I recently moved away from the ocean, and needed an outlet.. so here I am! Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds!

Need advice on workplace

Hey guys,

So here’s the deal.. I work at a mom and pop bakery. I’ve been here for 7 months now, but feel like i’m hitting my threshold for tolerance. Our owners take our digital tips, which is Illegal in the state i’m in. I feel like I work so much, but make so little. Sometimes they come in on their days off drunk and nit pick the store, blaming us for messes and telling us how things should be. This is usually right after a rush mind you. We are all employed “at will” which makes things a little uncertain. Lately they’ve been firing people they don’t like, and the way they go about it is very unprofessional. Basically they schedule that person for the whole week, have them come in, and tell them that’s it. Yesterday this happened to one of my favorite co workers, and they waved goodbye to her telling her to leave. Extremely rude. I’ve been looking for other places, but I feel like I just want to quit right now and let God take the wheel. I don’t know if that’s the smartest move, but I feel if I did quit it would push me to find another job in the next week or two. God pointed me towards Romans, and i’ve been reading that lately. I feel it has a lot to do with what i’m going through right now. Anyways, any advice is much appreciated! Thank you!
