Rewatching the God Eater anime, I realized Lenka went through a similar experience that happened to Yuu in the Undercover manga.

Now, it may just be a coincidence and I could be wrong. But I have a feeling that the writers of the anime may have sourced some of their inspirations from the Undercover manga (or the entire God Eater side-content as a whole [mangas, novels, etc.])

Someone pointed out that what d3rlord3 saw behind the gate wasn't actually the King himself, but rather the second act of the King in Yellow play, d3rlord3 then read the entire thing and instantly went insane.

Looking back at the footage, you can barely make out a few pixels of what seems to be a gold block just between the bamboo planks of the door and the left edge of the censor bar.

I did my best to create what I think it looked like with all the evidence so far (pretend there are texts on those signs).
