Looking for shows with genuinely shocking plot twists that actually make sense in hindsight

The best twist moments are ones where you rewatch and realize the clues were always there. The 100 had some of these especially in Seasons 2-3 where character decisions recontextualize everything before them.

Already watched: Dark, Mr Robot, Westworld, Lost

Any genre welcome. Completed series preferred.

Shows where every season feels like a completely different show but keeps the same characters

Some shows completely reinvent themselves season to season new setting, new tone, new conflict but the same core cast carries it through. The 100 is the best example I can think of, each season almost feels like a fresh start while still paying off everything before it. Looking for more shows that pull off this kind of evolution successfully. Any genre welcome!

Looking for shows with strong female leads who make morally grey decisions like Clarke in The 100

Clarke Griffin is one of my favorite TV protagonists because she constantly makes impossible choices without being purely heroic or villainous. Looking for shows with similarly complex female leads.

Already watched: Orphan Black, Dark, Alias, Killing Eve

Open to any genre.

Shows where the side characters are just as compelling as the leads

Looking for shows where the supporting cast gets real development and their own complete arcs not just background filler. Some of my favorites do this really well but I want to find more. Any genre welcome, open to all suggestions!

Looking for shows that completely change tone after Season 1darker and more complex

The 100 is the best example I can think of Season 1 feels like a standard teen drama but by Season 2 it becomes genuinely dark and morally complex. Looking for more shows that make that kind of dramatic shift. Any genre welcome!

Looking for shows like The 100 where does it get good after a slow start?

The 100 is the best example I know of a show that completely transforms after a slow beginning. Season 1 feels generic but by Season 2 it becomes one of the most morally complex survival dramas on TV.

Looking for more shows like this ones that start slow but become unmissable once they find their footing.

Any genre welcome, just needs that same "I can't stop watching" feeling once it clicks!

If you like post-apocalyptic survival shows, The 100 is worth revisiting

Been rewatching it recently and it holds up really well. Seasons 1-4 especially have some great moral dilemmas and worldbuilding. Anyone else think it's underrated?
