Embattled Leap/Battle Blitz Trajectory Logic Change

Despite it not being listed as a change for the character, The Things jump logic got changed and now has less of a chance for him to collide incorrectly in the air!

So original the jump would get cancelled if The Thing interacted with any geometry whatsoever, which allowed him to apply his defence bonus from anywhere within LOS (which at the time was a 30% damage resistance)

Then they changed it so now he could slide off terrain and geometry, allowing him to easily reach his location. But if the character he was jumping to changed in elevation or increased rapidly in speed the logic would glitch and he would sometimes attempt to jump at the person at an impossible angle, which would make him stop mid air

Now that doesn’t happen and he just full sends no matter what if he already pressed the button and had LOS of the player. So now you're more likely to slam into walls and get stuck on roofs, like a venom player

Devil Dinosaur Powercreep on The Thing+hp buff useless

It is and has always been incredibly easy to avoid dying and to avoid feeding, whilst still getting consistent value from him and his abilities, no matter which version of The Thing is played so the extra 50 hp that he has just been given doesn't do anything to buff him. This change only exists to lesson the gap between Devil Dinosaurs base hp and The Things base hp

even with this hp buff Devil Dinosaur still has more effective hp with Devil Dinosaur being able to have 2x more effective health and 5x more effective health when ulting which also doesn't get capped as easily when damaging multiple opponents because of how high the cap is compared to Things cap (plus his inherent 100 more base health compared to The Thing)

Versus Things effective health being between 76-100 per punch (Or 120 when using Pain Brothers, or 200 with his old invis teamup which is equal to what Devil Dinosaur can obtain naturally)

Devil Dinosaurs bubble is also far superior than Things charge and damage resistance due to the fact that the bubble can be used to counter and block ults from killing, and since Devil Dinosaur has a grab ability he can hold up decently well in the antidive allowing his dps to combo on divers!

The only thing Thing has up against Devil Dinosaur is his speed and CC, but because Tenacity hasn't been altered his CC is still useless because his ult doesn't work. Thing remains unplayable and doesn't compare to Devil Dinosaurs stats and uptime
