Points Bonanza and new fan of Ruby.

I've been getting so many offers recently - normally they seem to come one at a time but my two nights at Ruby Zoe in London earlier in the week surprised me. Normal DE points, 10k for 2 nights at Ruby, 8k for run of 4 nights and then double elite night credits. What's going on?

Big fan of that Ruby hotel. Interested to see if we get lots more.

6 Nights Points & Cash vs. 3 Nights Points / 3 Nights Cash

Is there an advantage to doing it one way or another? To be clear:

Scenario 1
Book 6 nights points using a Points & Cash rate

Scenario 2
Book 3 nights using points and another 3 nights using all cash.

Is one more helpful? I.e. I wondered if the 3 nights in all cash would count toward some promotions, where the 6 nights points and cash might not.

The total $ spend seems to be the same across both scenarios.
