There are Man vs Wild tier fake preppers here who are not legit preppers, but item collectors and buyers who pretend mall ninja Amazon shopping is a hobby. Collecting firesteel, knives, flashlights, lighters, sling bags, none of it is a hobby, and you are not an expert. Please stop guiding people towards getting harmed.

Flashlights are not a self defense item. They will momentarily blind them, but instead make your attacker more aggressive and will cause way more harm to you, as they get used to the brightness or strobe of your light.

Flashlights only work for people like police or military individuals because they have a massive combat skillset, which is 50x more important than an expensive tube of aluminium (because 300rs eveready is not going to do anything). Flashlight in no circumstances is a self defense tool on its own. It can only compliment other key skills you need to learn.

Ordinary people, genuine advice. Don't listen to YouTube preppers who haven't faced shit in their life. Just learn to either avoid going to risky places, or in case of a bad situation, learn to not do anything which increases risk of getting you or your friends hurt.
