SHE THEN BECAME A FUCKING FASCIST AND BANNED CITIZENS FROM LEAVING THE CITY JUST TO KEEP HER BOYFRIEND FROM BREAKING UP WITH HER.... HE WANTED TO LEAVE HER SO SHE STOLE MY BOOK, TRIED USING MAGIC THAT SHE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND, AND THEN FUCKING KILLED HIM. I WAS BARELY ABLE TO SAVE HIM BUT I DID. I TURNED HIM INTO METAL IN THE PROCESS BUT IT WAS THE ONLY WAY. BUT NOW MY SISTER HATES ME AND HER BOYFRIEND IS COMING TO KILL ME. AITJ???

I (20 f) met this girl (23 f) in college. the two of us became fast friends. I never did anything wrong to her. I was her biggest friend when she was bullied for her skin color and even changed my name to support one of her friends. a little over a year ago, she finally got to achieve her dreams. she got to meet the head of state of he country we live in. it was all she ever wanted, her whole life. she even invited me to come with her. we were both so excited and I was very proud of her. we arrive and she finds out that the aformentioned leader was.... trying maintain the law? and that pissed her off? it pissed her off so much that she suddenly turned against him, stole his spellbook, and has devoted the last year of her life to trying to kill him. I even got a massive promotion in her absence and am now famous. she hasn't spoken to me in over a year and I just really miss my best friend. AITJ?
